Why does he demand only running water?!

Eh, we're used to it, he got a new fountain today. I don't want him drinking from the faucet. He won't tolerate a water dish, he just splashes it all out with his paws, all over the floor. My cat is weird.

1. Your cat is not weird. He is a normal cat,

which means only that he is weird compared to other sentient organisms. Two of my three cats prefer to drink water out of the bottom of the bathtub after I've taken a shower. Mmmmm. Warm, soapy water.

It's just a cat thing.

Although Kyra (aka Princess) prefers freshly poured bottled water.

Riley started the fountain thing and refuses to drink out of a bowl under any circumstances (even the bottled water!). I don't think Spencer really cares, but since the fountain's already there he's happy to use it.
