UPDATE: Boots is back home!
I picked him up from the vet this morning, using public transportation. They allow animals on the bus provided they're either assistive animals for the disabled or in a carrier where they can't get out.

Boots appears less playful and more mushy than before I sent him to get altered. All he wants to do now is to be petted when he's not licking his stitches and meowing.

1. It's traumatic getting your nuggies cut off!
My cat was the same way, he was very lovey-dovey after his "alteration" -- like get me the heck outta here MOM!! I'll be good, can we go home now?

Good for you, keep that overpopulatin' under control. Give him extra loving, he'll be fine. :)
