Off to poison control website.

ACK! There is NOTHING this dog will not put in her mouth. Earlier I caught her with a cherry pit that had fallen to the floor somewhere. It's a good thing she hangs around all the time so I can catch her. It isn't the first thing I've had to pull out of her mouth.

I use a silica cat litter. She likes to dig around in there. I keep the solids picked up. I just caught her frantically digging, coming out and coughing. I know you're not supposed to eat that stuff. I don't think she could have ingested it. Hopefully she was just coughing from kicking up the dust. She now has a new no go zone. :argh:

eta: Evidently there is a choking hazard, and large quantaties eaten could cause obstructions.
She's okay.

2. One or both of my dogs ate a packet of that stuff you put
into a car radiator to stop leaks!! I don't know who did it, but neither one had any symptoms.

3. OMG!
Scary. I'm glad they were okay. I've heard many instances of pets being poisoned by neighbors, but never one where they were at home.
