...the 'chattering' the cat displayed, going after the fly.

My guys will often display this behavior, sitting in the window and viewing birds.

Ears at full forward alert, their eyes will FIX on the target.
Deceptively delicate little jaws will appear to almost spasm (displaying formidable fangs in the process!) and this 'meh-eh-eh-eh' sound will emerge.
It's a soft sound...but only in volume.

In intent...:scared::hide:



Sometimes it's difficult to reconcile the mighty predators they are outside with the loving purry affectionate furpeople who take turns sitting on my lap...
