I would be grateful for any feedback.

4. It is perfect to transport your animals. Pricey but worth the peace
of mind. The # of airports they service is still low but growing. They do require that you present up to date health information about the animal. I do think that is important for the sake of all the animals on board.

I would have a new kitty if this was not the case. My sister in San Diego has a nice stray that stays on her porch and tries to come in the house all the time. I'm told the cat is wonderful and she sure is cute.

My sister works full time and cannot take the cat for shots etc. and my funds are limited so I can't have the kitty shipped to me. I would take her to my vet but after paying the airfare, I'd have to wait a while.

After an unfortunate experience with a recent shelter kitty, I would rather give a home to one that has already passed the test.

6. I have flown my cats from the East Coast to the West Coast

of course they were put in cargo. I was on the flight, but I was such a nervous wreck I was practically in tears most of the flight.

The baggage handlers just opened the door and threw the carriers into the waiting room. I was furious.

So, I'm hoping that this works out, I might move again across country and I was planning to drive.

:hi:

7. Don't drive with your kitties. It would probably cost you as much
in hotel rooms just to make sure they are safe. The philosophy of this airline is right on the button. If you move back east, could you arrange to have your kitties flown, picked up by someone and cared for until you pick them up? Will you have to drive anyway? That would be fine but if you had an option of flying while your household goods are being moved, I'd fly and have my pets fly on their own flight. I bet there is a pet loving Duer that would get them for you as you transit.

8. you bet. It would probably cost more.

I was going to drive only to spare the kitties the trauma of flying. Either way, they are upset, but at least alive with me in my car and another friend.

I really like this Pet Airways idea and I'd seriously consider it.
