About the contestant:
Lucy was rescued from death row in a rural WV shelter in 2002. Now 9 years old, she was originally thought to be a Terrier/Warthog mix, but we now know her to be a Glen of Imaal Terrier (and undisputed Queen of the Couch). Lucy's patience with, and training of 20+ foster dogs over the years has helped prepare these pooches for their forever homes. Lucy is generously granting her star quality to the cause of raising money for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, and has truly earned her Diva status.
Lucy's favorite pastimes are eating, ridding the world of squirrels, napping in a patch of sunshine, eating, being worshipped, and attempting to clean up the "boulevard bon-bons" left behind by other pooches. Her goals are world peace, effective health reform legislation, and making sure the dishes are thoroughly clean prior to being loaded in the dishwasher.
