1. Same here...but I found something that works like Magic

I have a Collie that shakes, drools and pants from fireworks. I started using the Thundershirt two weeks ago. Last night during fireworks, he just laid next to me. No shaking, drooling or panting. And no drugs! It's like a miracle.

3. Yep, I bought it on line. Some vets are selling it, but mine

isn't...yet. I send him an email to endorse it. It works on 85% of dogs with anxiety.

I bought mine online but did see them in a store just the other day. I'm not sure if Bella is calmed by it or shutting down so I can't recommend it yet but it's worth a try...

4. I have a dog that looks like the one in the Ad. Have heard that

wrapping something around a dog sometimes helps. My Wheaten freaks at storms. Maybe I should try to get one.

5. It's 11 PM here and the fucking drunks are still out there

I have the cooler shut off and I'm sweltering, trying to keep the stink of burned gunpowder out there instead of in here. It's one of those stenches that never seems to clear.

My cat, I'm happy to report, is taking it in stride. The assholes have been at it since Thursday, and every time her ears went flat, I'd pet her and tell her what a good kitty she is. She's no longer shaking and cowering, at any rate.

I just wish they'd all finish blowing their fingers off and head to the ER.

I hate this holiday. I can get through the rest with minimal resentment, but I absolutely despise the Fourth of July.
