A Report on New Kitty

New Kitty, who found me and adopted herself to me last July is now much larger, slowing slightly, and putting on weight.
She would live another kitty to play with, and old Cat will not oblige at all. He's just too old and tired to even try.
So she's bored. And eating alot.
And slowing down. But that won't last forever.
She likes the top of my chair, but why she is kicking her foot out in the second photo, I don't know. dc

3. 'Kicking her foot out'...

sometimes cats adopt some weird positions (OK, weird to us less flexible human-types) as very comfortable.

Finnegan used to fall asleep with a 90-degree twist in his spine...his front half lying flat on the bed (or whatever comfy surface) and his back legs in the air.

...and D'Artagnan, who has joined me in the computer room is lying in one of the (five!) cat beds with the same kicked-out-foot pose that New Kitty is displaying.

9. what a darling you have there

She'd like a friend to play with no doubt. Personally I have three cats and two of them are seniors. One is about 5 years old now. They all play with each other luckily.

I hope you can find a friend for her (try the local shelter).
