Actually, it is more like cat hoping. Our little shih-tsu luuuurves her some kittypal. The cat, on the other hand is, at best, indifferent. This was taken on one side of the door, with the cat walking by on the other side. The gap below the door is juuust high enough that if Ittybit lays really flat, she can see under it.

Hope springs eternal in Doggieville.

The little one loves the cat. The cat tolerates her.

Tonight the cat was drinking from one of the common water bowls all the animals share. The little one was behind him with, literally, her nose in butt. It was hilarious.
