New kitty, new kitty, new kitty. I am so happy!
This is one of the nicest kitties I have ever met, and I have met a slew of nice kitties. He was a rescue kitty who has had two homes prior to this "forever home". I will not give this one up!!! Funny that I have never had such a vocal kitty---he is constantly talking. And he will not let me got anywhere without him following me. And I just got him five hours ago! Gotta love having a friendly kitty!

I will not attempt to post pictures here too. Check out:

3. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!!! I read the comments in the Lounge and
looked at his pictures. Sammy is a beautiful boy and it sounds like he knows he's home for good! I am so happy for you both. May you enjoy a long and happy life together.

4. Those pics were taken the first hour here, so he is relaxed
and cool, although he really REALLY loved head rubs. I mean, he will NOT take no for an answer. So sweet.

5. He's simply adorable...
I love ginger tabbies. I have always wanted one and I do have a tabby/tortoiseshell mix now (gray/orange) so I'm headed in the right direction. After my other 20 year old cat passes to the Rainbow Bridge, I'm planning to get a male orange tabby kitten to keep Abby company. Good luck with your new fella - love the pix.

6. He is beautiful, although this is not what I would have expected to get.
I was thinking more of a cat with more different colors or pattern. But.....we don't always fall for the "right" one. Or the one we had in our mind. You are blessed to have a cat giving so many good years. May it be a while before you have to think about another cat.

12. Hopefully it will be a good while before I get a new kitty...
Sammy will be 20 next month and she is doing quite well for her age. We give her fluids every night for Chronic Kidney issues and a blood pressure pill (which she hates and boy does she let us know it). She has arthritis, but not so bad that she can't jump up on the bed. She is the last of my original crew of six, five of which I brought back from our tour on Guam 20 years ago (Navy people). Thanks for your good wishes and good luck with the little one.

13. I am not used to a young kitteh myself. It has been 30 years
since I adopted one this young. It keeps you on your toes when you are not used to it. But it is fulfilling too.

One of my recent babies lost the battle with kidney disease, and I know the fluids routine. I am glad that it is working. With her, I finally had to put a footstool at the end of the bed to make her life easier. But if Samantha can still make the jump, I am sure it is good for her to make the jump.

Long life and good healthy, Samantha! :loveya:

8. I RESPECTS the ginger kitties...
The tend to be kinda scrappy (both sexes) and KNOW that they are "...all that and a bag of chips".

Bast help the entity who disses or ignores them... :hide:

10. He gets better all the time. Slept with me last night (ugh, hot).
He follows me all over and just continues to wrap around my legs---he may kill me if I don't teach him that this is not a good idea.
