Some recent Oreo Ninja Clowder pics...
Wimsey Whyte-Cat and Raven..."Reclining pas (paw?) de deux."

I am so grateful for Wimsey's mellow temperament and general all-around niceness.
He's decided that having a little sister may be a good thing after all and is socializing Raven as a CAT (as well as 'feline companion to humans'...which is all I can teach her).

Here's Raven helping with the electricity bill by turning off the lights...

Aaannnd... the mighty D'Artagnan, bringin' teh sexy back.

Riktor-Pye is fine...just he's been very careful to be elsewhere when the camera comes out.:hide:

1. Lovely cats!
Is Wimsey named after the Dorothy Sayers character, Lord Peter Wimsey? He's quite elegant-looking. And the black kitties are so pretty and shiny. Nice-looking clowder.

2. Got it one!
Wimsey 'told' me this was his name by jumping into my lap and LOOKing at me while I was reading Busmans' Honeymoon.
The Wimsey coat of arms was being blazoned "Argent (white or silver), three mice courant (running) and a Domestick Catt crouched as to spring".

I asked him "Is your name Peter then"? Nope.
"How about LORD Peter?" No, that wasn't it either.
"OK, what about Wimsey?" Purrs and headrubs.

Thank you.
I do take a great deal of pleasure in my handsome monsters...and constantly tell them so.

3. The first one looks like a portrait
of a master and his willing and much loved apprentice. Wimsey is probably a terrific mentor in the field of cat skills.

4. Thank you!
You just made up my mind for me...I was thinking of submitting that pic to the fair next year. :dilemma:

It's going in.

And you're right about the Wimsicle-boy...one can learn a LOT from him.

(Wimsey + jellicle = Wimsicle)
