1. It is very dangerous to over vaccinate your cat

2. I hate even taking my cats to vet for well check
its like when I used to take my HEALTHY kids to doc for well-check and 3 days later they would get sick!

Guess I shouldn't feel bad then for not vaccinating my guys for everything that comes down the pike (they are totally indoor boyz).

Mobile vet is the way to go IMHO. Let the vet come to you, but it is pricey. :(

3. Einstein only got his shots twice
and lived to be 16 1/2. I'm against all of it. I think it is a way for Vets to make money.

4. I am with you on that...
Half the stuff they come up with -- just like big pharma drug pushers for people!

My cats are happy, healthy indoor boyz. My vet yelled at me last time I called to get a tranquilizer for a long car trip, they wouldn't dispense unless I came in with BOTH cats for check up and vaccinations. We said screw it, used Rescue Remedy for older one by plane and younger one in car. Worked fine. Cats are well adjusted and fine.

6. You may have missed on of my previous posts
A co-worker adopted an abused, underweight and sicky puppy from Vet. He suggested to get the dog on its feet to feed it puppy chow! I posted because I thought this was crazy. They are on the same 'kick backs' as the human doctors are. The good news is we have more holistic vets today than we did 15 years ago.
Einstein was an only furrbaby and never went outside. I knew I was right and will continue my holistic traetment of my new furrbabies when I adopt them.
Namaste

7. I agree. Once you get your kitties spayed/neutered, if they are never
going outside again, why should they have to be subjected to any more vaccinations?

5. Book is still out on over-vaccinating kids
for cripes sakes, links to autism?
