1. too hot to eat?
our 4 cats seem to ignore food when it's too hot out -- they wait till evening when it's cooler and then chow down

2. Could be, but the AC is on, so I'm not sure if they even care about the
heat. You may be right though :).

3. just went to your gallery, your cats are SO cute
probably just the heat getting to them. Every living thing is lethargic at present.

7. I'm sure if both are not hungry at the same time....
it must be the heat.

8. Theyre now back to their normal food-vacuum like selves.
If it's edible, they suck it up :)

9. Do you have any houseplants?
sometime a nibble on one can put them off their feed for a day or two (and some houseplants are toxic to pets). Glad to hear that they are little chow hounds again! :-)

6. Have you tried the new dry Fancy Feast?
They must have put a drug in that because mine can't stop eating it. I would make sure they have fresh dry food in their bowls. As humid as it has been, kibbles get stale fast.

When mine get "off their feed" I usually experiment and try them on a new food. It usually does the trick. They get bored with the same old thing, just like the rest of us.
