My new babies!!!
Well, today is the 5th anniversary of my adoption of the Daemon, so it was very fitting that my daughter and I made another run up to the SPCA, and guess what we found??

Two GINGER boyz!! I didn't have the heart to separate them, so my daughter called her BF to see if he was okay with her bringing one of them home for their kitty who is lonely (Larry). We took them both. they are hysterical -- back flipping, playing, chasing. Phew, like toddlers; we have to kitten proof the bonus room tonight. My other two are acting very snooty, they knew we brought something into the house, but I am keeping them apart until this weekend. Then let the FIREWORKS begin!!

Kitties! The very existence of kittens proves the universe is not random and bleak. Kittens rule.

6. Awww...irresistable!
that's wonderful of you to have taken them both! Try switching their bedding with that of the other cats for a few days before they meet each other. That may make for less hisses and growling. :-)

GREAT photos, too-I hope we'll see many more!

:hi:

11. Still mulling....
My daughter will take one and may name him Moe (short for Motor, German pronunciation) she already has a Larry.

We might name ours Flummi, which means bouncing ball in German. Not sure yet. I also like Aidan.

12. Everybody's doing fine, even Sebastian
who was dissing and hissing the kittens the first few days after we let them roam. Now everybody is doing noses.

15. I just saw the pix you took of your daughter
and Pumpkin, that is absolutely precious. I have it in my 'other cats' folder for posterity. Proves why pets are the best for children.

Everyone is adjusting fine, it's funny to have four cats under foot!! I'll try to get a photo of that. What a menagerie...

18. nope we have ALL males in this house
Daughter takes one back to Pittsburgh next month. I am sure they will be sad to leave each other, we have to start separating at night in anticipation of the date. But Moe has an eager brother waiting for him (Larry)
