So I bought a second cat bed today....
because as you can see, the first one was getting too small for the both of them:

(and this was when jesse was still a tiny thing)

i wanted each to have his own -- often times nikko will just fall asleep downstairs instead of with me on the bed now (which makes me feel bad), because jesse's asleep on the catbed, which is on my bed... (though the other night, nikko got it first so jesse slept on my pillow with me.)

so i do the good fatherly thing and buy a brand spanking new one, a much bigger one, hoping they'd understand each can have his own now and they now longer have to share.

5 minutes after i put it down:

i give up

3. as much as he eats
i'm surprised he's not even bigger!

but yeh, he's grown so much... his body's starting to take shape now, i can tell he's going to be a very LONG and slender cat.

(i HOPE slender at least)

2. It's true love- no doubt about it
Cats love to sleep in piles.

The color of the new bed works well with both of them. Good choice!

:loveya:

6. I have a Rottweiler and am also fostering a little Benji-type dog
Well, he confiscated my Rottie's bed. So I bought my Rottie a new bed and gave the old bed to Dewey, my foster. Well, that didn't work because he took over her new bed and she is sleeping on the floor. At least it is carpeted.

10. yes mine always rough and tumble
since they are only 12 wks. they spook each other alot, and never fails one goes straight up into the air from all four paws. They think my house is the Indianapolis Speedway (house has good flow, made for racing, LOL)

11. Those cats are great.
I should get my cats a few beds. I hadn't considered it before. My bed is pretty crowded.

12. Don't bother...
Very few self-respecting felines will settle for a cat bed when a human one is available (especially when complete with one or more large two-legged heat sources).

14. we have 3 dogs and 4 cats
the cats ignore their "beds" - preferring to sleep in a window (if it's open) on the office chairs, the futon or on my head

the dogs each have their own beds - the two greyhounds (60-75lbs respectively) will scooch up together on one bed, the airdale sleeps on the floor with her head on one of the beds. The other prefered sleeping accomodations include: the futon, hallway floor or our bed

21. Talk about a "feline heap"...
If those kitties are as talkative as most Siamese, I can just imagine the volume level around that house!
