Sunny and Kudra
proving once and for all that futons are not just for dogs....

caught Sunny (greyhound) and Kudra (cat) snuggling on the futon this morning... BTW - Kudra is our 19 yr old cat, of all our cats she is the least effected when a new critter is brought into the family -- more often than not she rolls her eyes, mumbles some remark about "not another...." and stalks off (slowly)

2. A Greyhound and a Siamese...?
My ex, when she was growing up, had a couple of Siamese and and Italian Greyhound, and reported that they made a great team -- not at all like the preconceived notions of "cats and dogs."

By the way, Kudra's reaction to newcomers sounds exactly like that of my original adult cat, Sonya, who would merely give us a dirty look and go about making them welcome.

Kudra is a snowshoe cat -- she has white feet. She also isn't a purebred snowshoe

she does have the "points" like a siamese, but it's the white feet that make her a snowshoe

enny-whoo - she does rule, we call her the Enforcer.

she also talks - she says "hellooooo". When going to the vet's office she says Nooooo", "ooooutttt" and "ouuuuttt noooow". On the ride home it's "Hoooommmee" or "hoooomeee nowwww"

If she's around and you drop something on the floor - she pads over to it and says "uhhh ohhh"

and we are treated to a night time serenade a couple of times a month

3. You're very fortunate. My 18yo cat Mismatch still hasn't gotten used
to the 4 new ones.
