BB The Moosedog-R.I.P.
My baby passed away. He was 14- I had him from a little furball puppy my wife rescued. He woke me up about 2 AM and wanted attention. At 7 when I got up he was laying at the foot of the bed on the floor. He died peacefully in his sleep.

1. What a beautiful boy
He obviously had a lot of joy in his life. And 14 is a good long life for a dog his size-how fortunate that you found each other all those years ago, and that he was able to spend his last moments so peacefully, in a place where he was loved.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a furkid is always hard, even when they slip away so peacefully.

3. Yes
He was a lab-chow mix but when he got near water he was all lab. That picture was taken at Port Aransas. I had to drag him out of the water when it was time to leave.

7. Guess he said his goodbye at 2AM...I am so sorry for your loss.
This sure has been a sad weekend for DU petlovers.

BB was a very handsome boy who seems to have had a really good life with you. He was filled with love that he gave unconditionally to you and obviously you returned it in kind.

I am sure he will always live in that spot he carved out for himself in your heart.

I took him to our vet to be cremated. His ashes will sit on our porch with our other "kids" that have passed on.
