Recommendation on home air cleaners? |
|
Considering my asthma, my TWO furrbabies Igamoo & Kootchstone and we all 3 lve in 550 sq feet I have decided I need to buy a air cleaning machine. The 2 well known ones are over $300. Any experiences, preferences or recommendation on which is the best and in the long term the best value

1. Spend the money and get a really good one. |

Check out some sites for asthma sufferers. I did my research. I also saw your posting somewhere else and someone recommended the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze. Don't believe them. Consumer Reports shot that one down. You will need to spend at least $300. Also get one with a Hepa filter. They are supposed to be much better than the ionic type.

4. The ionic type without the filter put ozone into a house and can |
|
cause cancer. Anything with a filter that you throw away is good.

2. I use a shaklee Airsource |
|
it was recommended to me by my pet sitter. I also use a Dyson vacuum cleaner with a lifetime HEPA filter, and that seems to help air quality too. I had an ionic breeze from Sharper image, but it only lasted about a year.
