Smoke and Sterling Photos -- Together at Last!

This is the closest they have ever slept next to each other. Of course, I woke them up taking photos, and they still stayed close for a while longer. Progress!

Smoke: What was that flash, Dude?
Sterling: What flash? I'm sleepin, man.



Smoke: Now I hear her calling. Where is she?
Sterling: She's over here, stupid.



Sterling: OK, we'll pose pretty for you. Two seconds.
Smoke: Huh?



Sterling: Can we go back to sleep now?
Smoke: Huh? Is it time to eat?

I bet Althea sheds as much as Sterling! And yes, I live in Florida and they shed year round! But that is what lint rollers and vacuums are for. They are awesome cats... Smoke is 14 and Sterling is 10.

Although he is silver, not pure white. The lighting doesn't show his markings as well as I'd like. He really is gorgeous. I adopted him from Lorien's animal rescue! He's 10 years old, and got quite the personality. He is king of the house, that's for sure.

Smoke is a trip. He is 14 years old and I have had him ever since he was born, as I adopted his mom, who was a stray and pregnant when she found me. He is the most non-cat cat I've ever seen. Extremely laid back, will let you do anything to him, comes when he's called, and would sit on your lap 24/7 if you let him. He has that 'surfer dude' personality.

8. Awww...they're so sweet together!

it looks like Sterling's coat is growing out a bit too (I seem to remember that the rescue had to cut his hair short in a few places). Such gorgeous kitties! Sterling's coloring is just stunning ("silver shaded" is the show term), and smoke is so elegant; he still looks like a Turkish Angora to me. What a regal pair. :-)
