Those in Orlando that might know people that need help

(for refugees from the Katrina) and those that might want to help out. Lorien I know you do rescue so you might know of some that need help. I left a link to Veterans Recovery & Food Bank, Inc also known as Vets & Pets a non-profit helping in Orlando and getting ready to truck stuff to the gulf area on the link page. I also added their non-profit info to the link.

What they are doing now and planning on:
Marc Marchetti, President of Veterans Recovery and Food Bank, is planning to leave no later than Wednesday, Sept. 7.
He is personally overseeing that trucks make it to the victims along the Panhandle.
Currently we are supplying food, pet food, and health aids to families
here in Orlando who are housing friends, relatives and pets from the
hurricane areas. Several of these victims will be here for a while for
they have no homes to go back to.

I am from MD and just didn't think of the state forum. I posted here because they are trying to get stuff for pets too. The treasurer runs the Vet tech school in Orange County and feels pets are as important too so they are trying hard to get supplies to both.
