If you ever want to see an insanely happy kitty . . .
Give them some of these treats:

They're pricey ($9.99 for a jar at my local store), but they're freeze-dried salmon (nothing else, no preservatives, etc.). . . my cats go batshit over these things :) I mean they act like puppies, sitting up begging and the whole works :).

The treats come in other flavors too, but so far mine love these so much I haven't tried the others (a jar lasts about a month between my two cats).

2. You're supposed to keep them refrigerated, mine love them so much
that if they hear the refrigerator open, they now come running just as fast as they do if they hear a can of food being opened :)

3. Mine like the chicken best
though the salmon and cod are big hits too (the beef didn't go over too well). I just used two jars to plump up three kittens before I adopted them out two days ago. just a couple of pieces each before every meal-one was even climbing my leg when she saw the jar!

Puck is insanely obsessed with liv-a-littles. Since they are kept in the fridge, she spends a portion of every day pawing at the fridge door and saying "urr, urrr, URRRR!" It's like kitty crack!

4. LOL!
The shrimp did not need refrigeration, but the package was plastic and noisy, so when she heard me opening it, she would zoom out of whatever crevice she was napping in, and be all over me!

5. Yup, they're pricey, but the kitties LOVE 'em :)
Maybe I'll get them chicken ones next time and give it a try.

I know they won't like the beef, mine won't eat beef anything, they just won't touch it.

8. Some health food stores carry them
Such as Whole Foods. You can also order them here: www.pookiesbowwowbakery.com (just call if they aren't on the site).

10. Same price at Pookie's and Whole foods
(and Pookie's is Blue, for those that buy Blue) I don't think I've ever seen them for less elsewhere; if I did, I'd stock up. I've got THREE kitties jonesin' for liv-a-littles!
