I'm not sure I want Dean to be head of the DNC, but I'm just amazed at the lengths the powers that be are going to to keep him out!

Next thing you know, they'll be looking at Republicans for the position!

I credit Dean with getting me started on this journey. I'd be ecstatic seeing him as head of the DNC, but if he has others goals (say something in 2008), I'd understand his not running. Perhaps I'll ask him tomorrow at the meet and greet we're having for him in Atlanta.

But if those jackasses in Washington think I'll stick around and support this bozo, Terry M, they've got another thing coming. I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher, much less to lead my party.

You know, that's one of those jokes that you just hope is a joke .. I guess what I'm saying, is even though I get your joke and laughed, I sadly would not be surprised at anything the DNC did anymore. I wouldn't even be surprised if they handed the keys over to Dick Chenery, at this point.

6. Bypassing the DNC

At our meetup we had a DNC member as a speaker. One of the questions asked of him was how we could bypass or replace the DNC if we didn't like what they were doing. His answer was "If you're raising money and registering voters you're already bypassing the DNC."
