I'm posting this here because he was a Dean supporter, advocate and defender.

Some of my own strongest memories of this person are wrapped up in a discussion on the day I first heard Dean speak- a thread that ran during a televised CA mtg that was electric with excitement, promise and hope.

It was when he spoke before the CA Dems in March of last year, wasn't it.

Keph left for a while, then just came back. He was just part of DU.

One of us mentioned having RFK flashbacks. This feels so sad and strange. No one should have died before things got better- I know that's not a rational thought but, dang, it feels so wrong. I'm very sad.

Haunting the WH or Congressional halls might be a good idea. I am only half kidding about this. If I pass before Bush is out, and can figure out how to do it, I'll be at the foot of W's bed every night trying to talk some sense to the man.

5. It's a sad and sobering day

His posting was legend, he was a energetic and productive member of the Indiana DFA, and his loss makes us all a little less informed and energized.
We will go on, but it will be different somehow.

RIP big man. You were loved and respected.
