ever saw him. He was on Tim Russet the very first time - he hadn't even announced formally for the Presidency,but just hearing him and his message made me say to myself "That's our man."

If I live to be a thousand, I will never understand why he didn't win the nomination and then the presidency. I honestly think America missed the boat by not electing him.

Having said that, I believe he would perfect for the DNC Chairmanship. Maybe things are looking up after all. :)

as a people. I understand why Dean was not allowed to win the nomination. The DLC would rather another four more years of bush than a real independent minded democrat who would threaten their little fifedom within the party.

these are the people who will vote for the DNC Chair, I am torn about Howard Dean becoming chair of the DNC. While I agree he is what the party needs to go in a different direction, will he be muzzled because he is the head of the DNC? I would hate for that to happen.
