"Resigned"
I expect to see a lot of that word in the upcoming days. As in, "Democratic insiders were resigned to the prospect of a Dean chairmanship." Or, "Terry McAuliffe is set to resign upon former Governor Howard Dean's confirmation as DNC Chair." And, "Donnie Fowler, resigned to the impending nature of his overwhelming defeat, withdrew from the race for the DNC Chair and endorsed his sole remaining rival, Howard Dean."

Woo-hoo! I don't want to jinx it, but based on the votes out there right now, I don't think that's even possible any more.

4. Just a Couple More Days
Daily Kos is sponsoring a big welcome party for Governor Dean, encouraging folks to send a message of money and volunteers as soon as he's elected to the position.

I can't wait! Now if we can only get Kerry to return some more of the money we sent to his campaign that he didn't spend during the election cycle. I supported Kerry in '04, not '08!

:hi:

2. Hey, DTH! I was thinking at work
today that there is so little to be happy about these days..politically speaking.. that the hopefullness of a Dean DNC Chairmanship really has some of very excited.

Of course, we're not taking anything for granted but it all seems a little surreal anyway after what we've all been through the last four years.

BTW, I started liking Clark, too, during the Democratic National Convention.

5. Thanks!
I can't wait to see what changes Governor Dean makes at the DNC. I am hoping they are immediate and wide-ranging. :-)

7. Every day,a bit better..with a few minor setbacks.
Thanks for asking.

On the plus side, I've got more time for emailing and pestering congress people. ;)

9. Glad to hear from you, DTH!
It is the law student formerly known as LawStudentMom; my hubby, daughter and I met you at the DU barbeque last July at DDeck's house!

I missed passing by a wee bit last July, so I'm taking it again in two weeks. If I don't pass this time, it is because I spent a whole lot of time participating in Democracy for America!

And I'm thrilled he'll be Chairman as of tomorrow!

My hubby is at a DFA-Temecula-Valley right now - helping them with their website. It's family participation!

I was glad to see your participation in recent DNC events (like the delegate-thing).

Take Care! Ma'at (formerly known as LawStudentMom).

11. Hi, Great to Hear From You!
Isn't it exciting?!? I love Dean's comment about not responding to "blind" quotes!

Oh, and good luck on the exam, I know you can do it!
