Some, um, interesting new language in this attack on Dean
Howard Dean Soft Pedals Killing Womb Babies

Of course, it’s not only not sound reasoning. It’s downright immoral.

Killing one womb baby is still killing. Period. Killing is killing, And killing defenseless humans is not a moral act. It’s a sin. It’s gross evil. It’s of the devil.

Yet Howard Dean can think that the American head and heart will digest and enjoy his rhetoric of late when he champions abortion — killing womb babies.

He tried to go abortion-lite but of course that won’t work. When endorsing abortion even in the tiniest endorsement, it’s still killing womb babies.

Not too subtle, are they?

Is Dean's framing of this issue sending them into a panic already?

I'd never heard the term "womb baby" before but a quick google shows it being used on the more militant sites over the last several months at least.

1. Most Americans want to keep abortion legal, but want it rarely used
Dean's position is that abortion is a medical decision best left between a woman and her doctor. Like most feminists, Dean wants abortion to be legal and available, but also want to help reduce the need for it by encouraging humane and scientific based pregnancy prevention with scientific sound sex and parental education, easily available artificial birth control, and pre and post-natal care.

Dean is courting pro-life Democrats and that is fine, but he will have trouble when many of those pro-life Democrats, like Roman Catholics, see artificial birth control as a form of abortion.

2. Do you have any info

on what percent of US catholics see birth control as abortion?

I wouldn't guess it would be very high, but I might be all wrong about that.

On edit: according to the Oracle (Google), 80% of US Catholics don't have a problem with birth control.

3. My uncle, aunt are Catholics, have no issue with abortion or birth control
It is just not an issue with them, and they are very pro-Bush and his agenda. One of my cousins is a priest, their son, yet they do not consider it an issue.
