2008: What if it's Dean, McCain and Ventura? |
|
McCain seems to be exploring a run for the GOP nomination in 2004, Ventura--may run as an Independent and then there is Howard Dean. What if the November ballot that year had these choices? I think turnout would be even higher than this year. Three mavericks, but I think the good doctor would be the winner.

1. Dean kicks McCain's ass |

Simple as that. The republicans don't even like McCain. Most of his appeal has been with independents who saw him as honest. Well after backing bu$h this year I think his reputation as being honest is gone. Here's a man who suffered torture in Vietnam and he backs the administration that endorses torture now. McCain knows that the bu$h administration has lowered the bar for treatment of prisoners and set the Geneva convention back a hundred years.
I used to like McCain myself, but I have lost all respect for him. He's the same as all the rest of them just interested in saving his job even at the expense of his own morals. Fuck him.

2. Well, that would be interesting at least! |

But somehow I don't think that's how it's going to shake out.
