I thought I would post it, as I did not get one. There is a link to the video. I copy/pasted it from the blog. I usually get mail, but this time I did not.

Since Thanksgiving, the phones in Burlington have been ringing off the hook
with people asking for information about their local Meetups. Our office
volunteers are getting cramped fingers from typing zipcodes into
http://dfa.meetup.com to find Meetup locations. Over the next two days, we
want to maintain the momentum and continue growing our Meetup community.
The best way to build on this momentum is to engage and stay active in our
communities. At this month's Meetup, we want your group to start planning
for 2005 by researching filing deadlines for local offices, recruiting and
encouraging people to think about running, and planning ways to get more
involved in the Democratic Party. You can find local Democratic meetings, as
well as Meetups and other events at:
http://www.democracyforamerica.com/localIn December, we are also encouraging Meetup groups to plan DFACorps
activities for the holiday season. On December 11th and 12th, we are
planning a National Weekend of Action where DFA groups around the country
will participate in a variety of community service activities:
DFA is working with Toys for Tots to collect toys and distribute them to
needy children in your community. For more information about this program in
your town, please log onto:
http://www.toysfortots.orgHere are some other suggestions too:
Collect phone cards for wounded veterans spending the holidays in VA
hospitals and send them to DFA headquarters. More information at
http://www.blogforamerica.com/archives/005588.htmlArrange to have your organization serve a meal or collect clothes for
residents at a homeless shelter.
Create your own activity that will benefit the people in your city or
town -- after all, you know your community better than anyone.
If your group wants to participate in the National Weekend of Action, you
should use Meetup to plan events for December 11th in your community. On
Meetup night, we will send you an e-mail with information about how to use
DFA's Web site to promote your event to other DFA supporters in your area.
Finally, Governor Dean taped a short, inspirational message that you can
play at your Meetup. You can download it at:
