A Dean supporter won vice chair of the local DEC. I say Dean supporter, as she has not yet attended DFA meet-ups.

Another Dean supporter won position of secretary in the local DLC. She is a big supporter, just never comes to meetings.

Finally a local Rev. who is a Dean supporter won State Committeeman.

Just talked to my friend who won committeewoman. I have already contacted the DFA blog, heard back immediately from Tara, and friend is going to submit a write-up tomorrow to the blog.

We are very proud of us.

I am just sorry I have offended so many here for standing up for what I think. I don't think people should attend DFA meetings, knowing full well its origin, and be insulting to the founder. If they do so, it should not be greeted approvingly. Perhaps we are really not sure anymore about what we are about.

I just feel sad about the whole thing. But since there apparently is to be no more divisiveness, I can do that as well.

There is a sadness about it. Like they won because they can say it, and we lost because we don't defend it.

I see I have caused a lot of anger and outrage by posting something that most agree was wrong but should not have been posted because it was divisive. I see the handwriting now, that we will not be critical lest it hurt the movement. So they won. We lost.
