Monthly Light and Healing Thread Coordinator sign up sheet for 2010.

As mentioned in I Have A Dream's earlier thread, IHAD feels it's time for someone else or a series of someone elses to take over the management of our monthly light and healing request thread.

One idea floated by Kind of Blue was to have a sign up sheet for the next full year and to have volunteers pick out the months they want to coordinate in advance. So, I thought I'd take the initiative and post the sign up sheet.

Kind of Blue wants January and wovenpaint wants May. I'll take March.

Anyone else? Howabout...if you want to volunteer to coordinate the prayer thread for a specific month, post it in the subject line of your reply to this thread.

Also, for the record, Kind of Blue volunteered for January, and WovenPaint chose May. If they still want those months, perhaps they can confirm that in this thread.

7. LOL, I only looked at the months in the subjects

I hate to volunteer too far ahead because I go out of town a lot but don't know when ahead of time.

And, I thought I had already volunteered for Jan. and Feb. in the other thread that IHAD started.

So, I saw someone took February anyway, so I just thought I was supposed to do January.

All this, without actually READING, mind you.

The reason I like January is that I know I will be here on Dec. 31. The idea of volunteering months down the road is daunting.

But, I might add, *most* months I can be called on to do it at the last minute, so that is the upside of my lack of planning ability (I avoid day planners, lists and calendars like the plague).

I put "there's no such thing as time" into practical use. ;)

Hey, Celebration, I was being brave and signing up for February (I recently said I'm hesitant to obligate myself to anything for the next few months...lol), so if for the reasons you've mentioned here you'd rather take February, go for it!

I can be brave a few months down the road, as I'm likely not going anywhere either. LOL

32. If the monthly thread is to continue through 2011...

action will have to be taken very soon.

The group must decide if it wants to do the same thing for 2011 as it did this year. I think that the last volunteer that was signed up was for December, so there isn't anyone for January.

I'm on my first cup of coffee, have the crud, and didn't look at the date of the OP (or the wording of the subject line, evidently...lol)...thought it was new.

I was going to volunteer for February since January was taken and then saw I did and had no memory of doing so in the last day!

Thought I was going crazy...

I just didn't think that I would be the best person to do it, so I kicked the old one to at least remind people that action is needed if these threads are going to continue into 2011.

coming year. My family is going through a very, very rough time and daily it's taking my all just to pray. I hope in a couple of months it'll be cleared up and I can take the place of someone who unexpectedly cannot serve later on in the year :grouphug:
