1. Dear goddess, yes!!!
I feel like every drop of blood has been drained from my body. Couldn't muster up the energy to do anything but sit and watch television all day. Ugh!

3. That's likely
It's been happening on a regular basis lately. I can usually feel it at my crown chakra when there's a download happening, but maybe it's bigger this time and that's why it's kicking our butts.

4. Absolutely
And it's not really part of the holiday chaos either, as my holidays aren't really that chaotic. I feel sleepy all the time, but I don't actually sleep overmuch. When I go to bed, I don't fall asleep right away or anything--I stare at the ceiling for quite a while--and I wake up early as well, although I don't have much choice with a little kid in the house. I noticed my eyes are burning a lot, and it's not my eyesight--had that checked recently and it's fine.

I'll second your suggestion of another download--or perhaps it has something to do with the coming eclipse on the 31st?

8. burning eyes..
I was looking up today whether I should go and have my eyes checked -
burning, tearing, irritation, foreign body sensation, on and off blurred vision.

5. Anyone change sleep cycles with the sun.
A lot of noise disruptions wake me up every night. I am going to try going to bed early, sleep before they occur in the early am hours.

Sleeping with dawn and dusk/dark seems like a thing to do. Any thoughts?

9. my sleep cycle was completely off for a while, too
waking up at 2am, 3am 4am, and then falling back to sleep at 6am or so - resulting in being able to get up until 8 or 9.
But that has mainly to do with my mother having the lights or tv on..

all day, but I had to get up to take care of things as usual.

11. Of course I have an astrological perspective on this...
Edited on Sun Dec-27-09 03:14 AM by Dover

Besides being a sleepy time of year there are some planetary energies creating a lot of drag and general introversion of energies. First and foremost is the Saturn/Pluto square which is not only deeply transformative but builds pressure like having ones head in a vice that is slowly tightened, or a volcano which is building up magma, or a tsunami drawing in the waters that will build its massive wave. These two planets were in effect during 9/11 and are powerful change agents. Perhaps you recall that period of time that led up to 9/11 feeling unusually 'heavy'.

The other planets are Mars and Mercury in retrograde, which may feel a little like the Tarot's Hanged Man or perhaps the 4 or 8 of Swords (depending on the level of frustration involved). Mars rules action and also the ego expression. During this time that martian energy is frustrated in its outward expression, or awkward and less sure, less effective. Viagra anyone? Use the energy to clean out the closet or reconsider how you express your masculine, assertive energies (and learning receptivity)....

And last but not least is the Mercury retrograde which we're all familiar with.

So crawling under those covers for a loooooong winter's nap ain't a bad idea.
A good time to review all aspects of one's life before moving forward.
And be sure to write down those dreams!

12. and then some
I fall asleep early, sleep straight through the night and wake up exhausted and feeling like I was beaten with clubs during the night. The only thing that drags me out of bed in the morning is 2 doggies with their legs crossed that desperately need to pee. And my eyes have been burning and itching lately too.

Most of my dreams I've only remembered in fragments, and don't seem to have any particular meaning.

14. I feel run to death!
I feel like a hamster on a wheel and I can't figure out how to just STOP! I am so grateful my work gives me a week off between Christmas and New Years. Whew, it isn't like I am doing that much on the surface, I just don't seem to find much opportunity to relax and rejuvenate yet.

but then I got to smell the tiny flowers at my feet...

20. Exhausted and irritable.
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning, and according to the way the day went, that would have been the best thing possible.

The short days and lack of light plays a big role in it for me. I always get this way at this time of year.
