Hi everyone! :hi: First, I want to apologize for having been AWOL for about a week. For some reason (Merc ret + moondark?) I've been forced into solitude recently. Hoping it'll pass as Merc rights itself and the moon starts waxing again. I haven't even been able to work on my novel or my blog. But I have been reading ASAH threads and have been sending light for anyone who's requested it. Hope to be back in the swing of things shortly.
Now about that psychic ability thingie...I've always been slightly psychic (mainly because I never worked overly hard to train my sense)--more intuitive and empathetic. I mean, if I really sat down and did some serious work with runes or tarot I could come up with something, but otherwise my psychic "hits" are more "misses" than "hits", if you know what I mean.
However...! Last April, I had a dream about one of my favorite famous guys, James May (see sig). I was in a small shop, and he came in and started grabbing things off the shelves. He said they were for his TV show, but not his main show, Top Gear. I didn't know what he meant. After that, he and I and a couple of other people walked down the street and he said he wanted to show us something. He led us to an old Victorian street (narrow lane, tall brick buildings, no windows), and a train came down some tracks. It was an old green steam train. He was very excited about it--we all got on and went for a ride. Later in the dream we were with his friend/cohost for his wine show, Oz Clark. I wasn't sure where he came from.
There was more to the dream, but those are the important bits because...
His six-episode series, James May's Toy Stories, aired this past November/December. In it, he built life-size versions of favorite toys (life-size Lego house, 1:1 model airplane, etc.) In the very last episode aired (after Christmas), which I just watched online, he built a 10-mile-long model railway on an old, disused real route in Devon. The first train he wanted to run on the track was one he'd since he was a kid, the Flying Scotsman. It's an old green steam train. And in one scene, he went to a toy/model shop and yep--it was the one in my dream. But the proprietors were grabbing things off the shelves for him. :) And yep, his friend Oz Clark helped him--the only episode where he did (although he did visit James in the Lego house one).
Freakin' WOW, man.
The funny thing is, although my dream was in April, this episode was filmed in July. And I didn't start hearing about this series at all till AFTER I had the dream.
Just don't ask me...WHY, you know? Because I've got no freaking idea why I dreamed about this particular subject...
