2. I saw your post -- it was superb! (as always)

I'm happy to say that critter-wise we are down to our normal four: 3 dogs and 1 fine tuxedo cat. Found a wonderful home for the Bernese Mtn dog with a family that had lost their St. Bernard recently. She was a cutie all right. I miss her -- but not enough to want to rush out and find any more rescue dogs right quick like (in fact, I may have sworn off completely -- we'll see if my resolve lasts).

And TODAY I think I finished up our annual round of vet visits, so I am relatively "free" for a while, other than the normal pet manqgement (dogs in, cat out; cat back in, dogs back out; rince and repeat once a day at least; dogs in if a thunderstorm rolls thru or even threatens to since one dog is thunder-shy). Thanks for asking.

3. Okay, I'll post my very small "story" here.

I usually just avoid all discussion of this topic, but what the heck...

I have never seen a UFO, have never been abducted. The reason I believe in them is because when I asked my cousin, a lifer in the US Air Force about them, he told me this:

"First of all, they aren't unidentified - we know exactly who and what they are. They aren't Russian, they aren't Chinese, and they aren't OURS."
I asked him to explain. He said "The world isn't ready to know, and we aren't allowed to tell them - it isn't OUR choice. The world will learn the truth when THEY decide."

He later showed me a photograph in a book of some "supposed" meeting between the aliens and US Air Force officials - that "supposedly" had happened at an air base where he was stationed AT THAT TIME. According to him, it HAD happened, and he SAW it happen.
Now, why would I take HIS word for it?

1: Because of what he did in the Air Force - he was never ALLOWED to tell us WHAT he did in the Air Force after 'Nam.
2: He has the imagination of a ROCK. A DUMB rock.
3: He turned from being a racist to just saying - "we're ALL earthlings!" And lives that change.
4: We grew up together and he named his first daughter after my Mother, and his second daughter after me.
5: He is the worst liar on earth. When he tries to lie, he turns beet red and stammers badly. When he talked to me about it, he looked me directly in the eyes and meant every word he said. He spoke clearly and succinctly.
6: He told me the only reason he told me was that he always considered me his sister, and he wanted me to know the TRUTH.
7: He now hates the government and everything to do with it - says they're PURE evil. And he says we should be very, very afraid of the government.
8: My cousin is as honest as the day is long, and I see the truth etched on his once young, handsome face. He is a totally changed man from what he once was - totally.

That did it for me.

4. "we aren't allowed to tell them"

Does that mean they have communicated with us, since they are in charge of the release of info? I have believed for a while that in my lifetime, they will visit us openly.

5. He said we had a " TRADE treaty" with "them", but that

they were the ones IN CHARGE, especially when it came to telling the world about their presence here. It is far more than just communication, he said, more like we've been "dealing" with them - trading certain things for technology, and other things.
The conversation made him very uncomfortable, and he refused to be specific about the details, as he was very worried about me telling anyone about the conversation. According to him, they're already HERE.
BTW, this conversation happened after a family funeral; his last comments were to : live a good life, be a good person, avoid the government, and stay safe. He was afraid "for the future", he said.
As usual, I began asking many questions at once, and he was shaken by them. Said I knew too much for a simple citizen.
I have also always believed that this truth would be uncovered in my lifetime - and I hope so. I hope I live to see it.

I just know, what he said scared me beyond words.

6. Wonder If They Have A Solution To

Peak Oil, and it does make one wonder what we could possibly have that they would want, aside from people.

He wouldn't say why, and I have no idea why they would want something like that.

I have heard very similar from more than a few sources so I am not too surprised.

I have a feeling there may be more than one group out there with perhaps different agendas and different technological knowledge/skills. I've heard for awhile that there will be technologies made available that can turn things around for the planet and for us. That'd sure be nice,huh?

11. Military people in certain positions know because they have seen

My father was the same, though he spoke briefly about them too. We never thought it was an issue. We were raised "knowing" they exist and no big deal was made of it.
