"Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure....
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, talented, gorgeous and fabulous?"
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
You playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us:
It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others."
Nelson Mandala, 1994 Inaugural Speech.....

Chief Aupumut, Mohican, 1725....
"When it comes time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way.
Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home."

Chief Seattle......
"When the Earth is sick, the animals will begin to disappear. When that happens, The Warriors of the Rainbow will come to save them."

We are the ones we are waiting for and that the world is waiting for.
Every thought is a color and as we think...we are sending rainbows of color through our own energy fields..and out into the world.
Be a bright rainbow being and a shining light unto the world.
This is the time to share our bits of light/knowlege instead of hiding the light/knowlege.
There will be no more secrets.
As we awaken, the whole world changes and we will never look at it the same way or be the same again. :)
Women can be Spiritual Warriors too as well as men.
A true Warrior is a Spiritual Warrior.
A Spiritual Warrior does not seek power over others or in the way the world thinks of power.
A Spiritual Warrior seeks Spiritual Power in order to face The Creator without shame and to travel and explore into the unknown of the inner planes.
We are the Rainbow Warriors. :)

2. :) was just moved to post some of my favorite quotes and to expand on them a bit...
This is such an awesome time and such a major shift in history.....
It can be draining, frightening and exhilarating all at once.
I thought we could all use a little inspiration.
I keep some of these posted on my refrigerator door to keep me on track. :)
I am glad you liked them.

7. "I thought we could all use a little inspiration."
We've all been working up to these changes for months, seem to be finding similar challenges/choices ... and the usual: keep what works, eliimate the rest. I esp. felt the Solstice (period) and yesterday's energies very strongly ... Your first quote is very relevant to relationships, which we all usually have occasion to revisit/revision this time of year.

As a society, don't we train generations to "hide their light"?

4. Ummmm......
Here's a link to the text of the 94 Mandala Inaugural speech. You'll not find those words there.
http://www.anc.org.za/ancdocs/history/mandela/1994/inaugct.html

The words instead come from Marianne Williamson's A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles", Harper Collins, 1992. From Chapter 7, Section 3.
http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Marianne_Williamson

As Wikipedia notes there was a similar passage in the film Coach Carter.

9. It's one of my favorite quotes
I looked up all the sources years ago because I kept hearing it attributed to different people.

Thanks for posting it. At least for now I have set it as my PC desktop.

6. I have done too much of this in recent years
"There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you."

I have realized it's time to stop shrinking. The fallout will be interesting, but I'm not afraid of it.

Thanks for the reminder, Win. :hi:

10. Brilliant, brilliant quotes. Thank you.
And it's why I stay away from using thought forms, most of the time.
