Symbolic Radionics--"wishing" machine

Joshua Warren was on Coast to Coast last night. Although he talked about radionics and symbolic radionics, he used different phrasing, calling it "wishing machine" and "virtual" wishing machine. The above is the virtual wishing machinge available at his website.

His challenge was for everyone to print it, write a wish out and put in the middle of the diagram, and put it away and see what happens. He emphasizes that the wish should be reasonable, and it should also be something you are working on from some other direction. He also cautions that what we put out there has consequences, so be aware. I would say use "in the whole best interest of_____" in whatever you try.

His website is semi crashed after this. But it is this

http://www.joshuapwarren.com/

We are to share any successes we have with this (email him).

1. That seems cool ...
... I like the spirals - always remind me of a Reiki symbol. I wrote down my wish and will store it away. Thanks for the reminder to harm none - I added "for the highest good of all concerned, harming none".

Appreciate the heads up! (Looks like his site is still down, though.)

2. thanks, that is great phrasing
This stuff works. Will it grant every wish? No, but it does tilt the odds.

3. actually, they are circles in circles
At first, I thought they were spirals too, but no, on closer look they aren't.

But it is a cool pattern.

Thanks, Celebration! :D

Oh, in searching for more info on the symbolic machines book, I found there's Yahoo group on radionics that has a copy of it in pdf form. You have to join the group to get it, or I can email it to those that PM me for a copy :)

There's also another spiritual forum out there with a section just on radionics:

8. what is the symbolic machines book?
I have a copy of Amazing and Wonderful Mind Machines by Harry Stine, and there is a chapter in it on symbolic machines. Is it a decent Yahoo group? Maybe I will check it out.

There are some decent computer programs out there using symbolic radionics. It's kind of how I got the idea for the slideshows, because I was familiar with some of the more expensive software programs, and I realized some of the same things could be done much, much cheaper. But some of the simple radionics programs aren't that expensive.

If it's not the same book, it's similar. Is yours from 1992?

The amount of information on the yahoo group is pretty extensive as is the case with the Mystical Wonders forum. I'm still reading through as I'm still trying to wrap my brains around it all ;)

This thread on Mystical Wonders gives useful examples of symbolic software, though I'm guessing the programs you're talking about are real computer programs, right?

Seriously!! Whenever I feel as if I might be losing my mind, I go back to it. But, just knowing it is there..............is a great comfort.

But, I'm a bit weird.

:)

I bought a bunch of the last copies and gave it to friends and relatives, who don't appreciate it. I keep telling them, do NOT sell it at a garage sale.

The chapter on symbols is fantastic.

15. Which is the chapter on symbols?
From the table of contents:

The Realist's Dilemma
Detector Rods
Pyramids
The Energy Wheel
Pendulums
The Hieronymous Machine
Symbolic Machines
The Symbolic Hieronymous Machine
The Wishing Machine
Postscript

Also, I noticed in the bibliography that Christopher Bird is mentioned. He was the co-author with Peter Tompkins on the books "The Secret Life of Plants" and "Secrets of the Soil". Both have sections on radionics.

John W. Campbell is another author I recognized, as he was a famous science fiction author from the Golden Age of Science Fiction, and responsible for the novella "Who Goes There?" Most people know that title simply as "The Thing (from Another World)" as per the two movies made from it ;)

When I joined that Yahoo group, they automatically sent me the following pdf's:

Mind in Radionics.pdf
The Radionic Principle: Mind over Matter by Tony Scofield.
An up-to-date (2007) review of ideas on how radionics may operate. (17 pgs.)

radionicsblackbox.pdf
The question of how radionics works is one that practitioners are frequently asked, and to which we have few satisfactory answers. To those with the prevailing ‘common-sense’ view of the world claims made by radionic practitioners seem too far-fetched to be taken seriously. Let us consider what they are.

subconscious_pendulum_communication.pdf
A Key to Unlimited Consciousness: Subconscious Communication with the Pendulum

CP-Cox.pdf
Radionics: Its Origin, History, and Applications by Michael J. Cox. - Atlantic University Project

You'll probably read more of this than I will, at least for the time being. I'm trying your wishing machine symbol right now (to facilitate becoming employed again) and need to do another one for some personal matters.

It would be interesting to either read or write fiction in a world where radionics is an accepted practice... ;)

18. symbolic machines
If you are going to read any part of this book, I would suggest first skimming over The Hieronymous Machine, and then read the two chapters following that. The first chapter is pretty technical, and you don't really need to get into the details of it. Symbolic Machines chapter made me almost scream with delight!! I loved it.

Computerized radionics programs are symbolic machines. The slideshows I do are based on these principles. Salute to the Sun will be done soon!

I skimmed the first chapters, and though technical, I may read them soon as well. I noticed strength testing included there.

That other site also has a link for radionic software (found it looking around some more.) The radionic tones program is of interest to me as I do like to use sound for healing :)

6. Something like this would be a tool to help you focus your thoughts.
Tools have no power in and of themselves. But as an aid tools are great to help us focus.
However we can put a lot of energy and power into our tools if we dont remember that it is not the tools that have the power but it is ourselves.
This would work along the same lines as the compound elemental in that you are focusing mental energy on one thing.

7. that's one part of it
But symbols have power due to collective consciousness, and unknown factors, as well. In other words, it is more than the belief that a single person puts into it.

I wouldn't have necessarily believed that before I started doing muscle testing. But, some things muscle test strong, and some weak, and the responses are universal.

But I agree that there is more than one way to do things. While we don't HAVE to use these tools, it is great that they are there, because it makes things much easier. Symbols, used correctly, can amplify intention.

14. I use a pendulum for self body magic.....
Edited on Sun Jan-24-10 11:02 PM by winyanstaz
Body magic/muscle testing works by the power of the sub-conscious self/younger self..and that is exactly the same way a pendulum works.
I always keep it simple with a simple yes/no cross drawn on a piece of paper.
I am sure there are other ways :)
I look forward to reading other thoughts on this :)

17. eh, people muscle test themselves all the time
It can be done various ways. As stated below, a pendulum could be used. Or you could use your body as a pendulum, and sway one way for yes, and another way for no.

But there are lots of finger testing techniques that can be used. Or, if one can do regular muscle testing, you could test through a surrogate, someone else taking on your energy.

16. symbols and muscle testing
Well, muscle testing works on the same principle as a lie detector. For purposes of this discussion-- yes/no Does this symbol strengthen me? Does this symbol weaken me?

Yes, one could also use a pendulum.

What interests me is are the UNIVERSAL symbols.....the ones that weaken almost everyone, and the ones that strengthen almost everyone.

As an example--clockwise motion strengthens, counterclockwise weakens. Most massage schools teach that massage techniques should never go counterclockwise on the body, for example. Man, that would leave someone an energetic mess.

Also, five pointed star right side up strengthens people. Upside down, it weakens people.

Here is what is REALLY interesting. The peace symbol, not withstanding all the meaning people place in it, weakens people. I would NOT recommend that anyone wear a peace symbol on their clothing or around their necks. Basically it is an upside down Y, which weakens people. A rightside up Y strengthens people.

If you want to know more about the subject, I highly suggest you look at the chapter on symbolic machines in the G. Harry Stine book.

Radionics machines are boxes with wires and dials, etc., and they really help project action at a distance. But, truth be told, symbolic machines, which can be something as simple as a piece of paper with a drawing on it, work just as well. The symbols used are universal.

I really have no opinion on the particular symbol above and what it does with wishes. But I am positive that symbols have meaning apart from focusing intention.

As to why we react universally to some symbols, I can't say exactly. But look at the DaVinci man sometime. He realized that our bodies are formed like a right side up five pointed star. An upside down five pointed star must interfere with our energetic pattern flow.

28. yes...as upside down pentagram is banishing/negative...
and right side up is postitive/involking.
Same with windershins (left) or turning right..one is involking/drawing down/in (gathering) and the other is banishing/sending away/out. (dissapating)
Same with the Y but inside a circle it is much better as the circle holds the energy in..
The original Y in a circle was called the "Witches seal" or the "Crow's foot" and was the symbol of the Healer and of the One... but the Y had to have the straight line through the middle to be correct..so there is a three pronged end (for the three aspects/sacred trinity (yup thats where that came from but was for the three aspects of the Goddess (maiden-moon, mother, crone) as well as of the God (son/sun-father-wiseman).
The "Y" finger symbol used by the hippies is a Native American hand sign for peace.
This same energy movement is found in the western practice of hanging a horseshoe with the point up for luck...or down and the luck energy runs out.
If anyone wants to see for themselves the movement of energy on the mendella that you posted here...may I suggest they enlarge it...focus on it on their computer screens for a while by looking only at the center.
Then turn off the image and close the eyes while looking towards the middle of the forhead and they should be able to see the patterns of energy moving (they may already be seeing it by focusing on the center without turning the picture off and closing the eyes but it will help if they do this) :)

REALLY bugs me! Sure the finger symbol for it is fine, but the one printed on shirts and on jewelry is not. And to think as a pendant it could be worn right over the fourth or fifth chakra. Ugh. I don't run into many upside down stars so that's not as bad...................

13. Yes as symbols are part of the language of the sub-conscious self...
which of course we know is a part of the One Universal Consciousness/Super-consciousness/Older Spirit/IAM consciousness/God/dess.
You will find though that a certain amount of the response to muscle testing will sometimes vary from time to time on certain objects due to the fact that we are each unique.
For example, say if one is testing which mineral is their mineral/rock that works best for them they will soon find that only a few will test positive.
They will not respond the same to all the stones..but only to the one/ones that is/are best for them.
It is the same with tools. :) Some will work better for some than others.
You are absolutely correct when you say "
Symbols, used correctly, can amplify intention."
It is also correct to say that certain symbols may work better for you than another.
I have always called this technique of muscle testing for things and compatibility etc ...by the name of Body Magic. :)

Nice that you did it here.

I guess you could ask your pendulum what would be the best way to add the addendum, but I probably would just add the language that Mystical Chick suggested without reprinting it. That seems reasonable. Keep in mind that JW didn't even mention such language. I think he should have, of course.

I truly think he purposefully did not mention the word "radionics" just so new people wouldn't go and flood all the radionics groups.

Let me know what you think of it!

Okay, I never really did make any of his machines. I already had a pendulum. But I found his explanations of things, and his whole attitude really refreshing. I loved that he came to all this with the background of a physicist. I loved the sense of wonder and astonishment with which he approached all this stuff.

But, somehow, my loving this book, I think, unmasks my inner geekdom. It is a pretty geeky book!

I found that my inner geekiness was rather vindicated and even celebrated when I read it. By far my favorite parts were the two chapters after the technical one on the Heironymous machine, which I did not care to read in detail.

30. Anyone else have any luck with this?
One of my two wishes, having to do with hubby's business, just came through big time. The other wish actually has preposterously small odds of happening, so maybe that's why this one came through so big.

I did put the wishes right next to my copper spiral thingie, so maybe that helped.

He doesn't know about this, but I doubt if I can resist telling him.

31. Of the three I did
(Job, Relationship, and Dental Health) the results have been good to none.

My teeth and gums have gotten better since I started this. Of course, I've been much more diligent in my attention to them, so my cleaning earlier this week didn't go as bad as I imagined (not as much scolding from the hygienist and dentist ;))

My relationship is still rocky, but at least I've gotten a recent reply. So, some good, but not as much as was in my wish.

My need, desire, want and wish to being employed again is "stalled" according to the one contractor where my resume is up for two different mapping positions (at the same company.) Networking is slow to nothing as with everything else in my pursuit of employment.

As for placement of each individual wishing machine and wish-note, I put the ones for relationship and employment in the corner with a Lakshmi card my gf sent me some time ago. The dental one is over my head, so to speak, on the windowsill above my bed. If y'all got any better placement ideas, I'm open to them.

32. employment and contractor
If you feel as if the one contractor would hire you if they had more business, maybe it would work better if your wish was for the contractor to attract more business (the type of work that you do).

And for the relationship--how about removing energetic blockages to the relationship, but with the explicit intention not to affect the free will of the other person? Sometimes it IS the free will of the other person to have a good relationship, but there are certain blockages. But you would have to be very careful with the wording on this one, so as not to be forceful on the other.

Good for you and your gums!

Thanks for the feedback.

As to where you put them, I don't know. I have no idea if where I put the pieces of paper had an extra influence or not.

33. The employment-wish was just in general for my expertise (mapping)
and not to the two openings for which I've been hopeful the last month and a half. I've been through similar things before: companies will put out an opening notice just to see what kind of response they get, with no intention of filling the position. I'm starting to think that's the case with this particular one, but you never know.

The company with the openings is a pipeline company and the contractor is trying to get their positions filled, once the company gets their act together. It has been one thing after another, like they're in no hurry to fill anything, thus my contention above.

I suppose I can add a time-factor to the wish, like get me one by the end of the month, but am not sure if things work that way with this or not.

I'm not sure how to remove energy blocks in our relationship as I don't know what's left. The biggest was removed last year (my divorce) and we were doing great after that, for a while anyway. As for the wording of my wish, I made it as one "for us" instead of just "for me", so maybe that's the problem.

You're welcome on the feedback. I haven't read much more of the Stine book (been reading the other books in my list) but need to look over those diagrams on the Hieronymous machine. Maybe I can build one :)

34. well...........
You never know what energy blockages are out there. It could even be a past life thing, something deep and subconscious....actually blocking free will. If you make it general enough it could cover anything. But making it "us" sounds like a good idea.

Probably the pipline company is gun shy about hiring because of the economy. The symbolic wishing machine may not be able to do a lot about that. How about, "For the best whole benefit of all concerned, and harming none, Company X comes to the realization that my skills are beneficial to them in performing on their contract. Even though the economy is less than optimal, they realize that my skills are needed if they want to continue to attract business." Now, hopefully you think that is all true. :) If not, tweak the wording.

Oh, what is the Yahoo group that has the Stine book?

I guess I'm going to need to read more of my copy of "Past Lives, Present Miracles" by Denise Linn on the blockages part, since that's what it's mostly about...

I just thought of some added placement, at least on the relationship wish: taping it to the back of a photo of her :)

It really isn't for you. There would probably be some reason, hopefully meaning something better would be coming along soon.

I do think the wording can be critical.

So, get this, my hubby of course STILL has no idea that I did anything outrageous like this, although I seriously doubt if he would be surprised.

Even so, this new thing of his will require so much work that his opening words to me over the phone were "Be careful what you wish for." My jaw dropped open at that! He seems happy about it, but I am so glad I put that qualifying wording at the beginning.

Thanks for the link.....

I used half of a normal-sized post-it note on the first one, and it covers up about a third of the wishing machine. Unless it works better if the note is either attached or written on the back, or do you know?

41. Two wishes -- nothing so far
Unfortunately, I've been laid low with a cold or the flu for the past two weeks so that has affected my ability to manifest or cause things to happen.
I will let you know whether either wish happens.
Hmmm. Maybe I'll make a third wish but this time for something easier.

42. LOL
Even the greatest manifestor in the world would have a hard time materializing hundred dollar bills falling from a cloud. (I am not suggesting that was your wish!!).

I think this is meant to just give a little nudge. I wished for one thing that was reasonable (granted!!) and one thing outlandish, but not quite as outlandish as above--for sure possible, but remote.

Just ask your pendulum on appropriate wishes..........

And, yup, I SURE HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER SOON!!

43. Actually my third wish may be more outlandish than one of the two already made
Hell, I might as well as ask for what I really want than asking for stupid things that I really don't care about.

44. Yeah go for it!
No harm, no foul. :) Definitely one of mine was pretty out there. I have such intention, though.

I have VERY little experience in all this. I would just reiterate--muscle test or do pendulum on the wording. Ask--Would this be beneficial?
