The boy (Garrett) went on a spontaneous 2 week vacation w/the family, so I had lots of time to 'do my thing' LOL!
Last friday they were home while I was there, & Garrett was happily playing in his room. I mentioned to his Dad that Garrett had cleaned his toys up w/out being asked (this has NEVER happened before!) & Dad said "Yeah, he's decided he likes his room now - he's been playing & sleeping in it more this week. He's also been tidying up w/out the usual crying hissyfits, no more fighting at bedtime (he's stopped sleeping in his sister's room) - guess he's growing up. Not sure why, but not gonna look a gift horse ...!". I also haven't laundered wet bed linens since they got home, the bedwetting has just stopped. Just like that!
Both kids just seem sweeter, calmer, more at ease. Even the parents seem more peaceful. I'm just so happy it wasn't a harder 'cleaning' - it seemed like it was almost a predestined(?) path. Like I was supposed to be here at this point in time, w/DUers that had just the right knowledge ... this was so like a well planned road map. It all felt so right, almost welcomed (if that makes any sense)! Yeah, welcomed is the right word - even w/the opposite feelings that the room generated. The family's higher powers welcomed the cleaning - even if the others didn't. Somebody went shopping w/the mom when she bought all that stuff (ammonia, essences, broom, sage, etc) & sent them away till it was done. Something told 'mom' to tell me to 'have at it, clean what you want, you always know what needs doing before I do, free run of the house, etc)!
The universe always seems to offer up what's needed, at just the right moments. I've almost always had solutions present themselves when most critical - to the point that some people around us take a step back & get scared. I & my family have some very attentive guardians, kinda helps balance some of the loads!
And this forum is a haven!
