3. I've been thinking of doing this for a long time, too. With spring
coming on, it's time to begin planning it.

9. I LOVE those!
I have some things but they're more "yard art". Hopefully, I'll have more time and energy this year and can do more in the garden. I'm going to be looking for places to create Little Worlds in my garden. Hope you don't mind...

Or at least ..it should be :)
have fun...it can be tons of fun finding just the right little moss or ground covers to landscape with.

I like to use corsicon mint a lot in my little worlds because it makes the air smell like mint if touched or brushed or stepped on and it has lovely tiny flowers too.

I use it in my gardens in the cracks of the sidewalks too...that and a few sweet basil where people will brush up against it a bit....makes the air smell heavenly :)

You can keep huge ferns small by pinching them where they get too large..after a while..they just grow small.

I would love to see your Little Worlds :)

After a while I shall post some pictures of some of the gardens I have done in the past. :) Just for fun.

13. That is a picture of one of my gardens about fifteen years ago...
I sold that place and have often wondered if they kept the gardens up.
There was a lot of land and I had a few gardens all around the place..tucked in corners etc...
The last place I had I also had a lot of gardens...
When I moved into the place I am in now..I wept because the back yard was full of dead weeds and the earth was just sand. :(

It is now a lovely garden area too but is still very much a work in progress.

I have to buy soil for every plant I plant and I am working hard to upgrade the soil by composting etc.

When I do get my floppy reader re-installed I will send other little world and other garden photos out..and even some from this place ;)

Everywhere I have lived I have tried to leave the place nicer then when I moved in...and the gardens full of beauty..for our Earthmother and all our relations..

12. Wonderful
Thanks for showing the little worlds to us.
I would never have thought of creating little worlds with bonsai, even though they go together.
I might give it a try.

14. Let us see what you create :)
Playing with Little Worlds is ton's of fun...and they make great gifts too ;)

You dont always need plants either...

A lovely dish full of sand, raked into a zen pattern, a tiny wizened old lady beating on a drum sitting on top of a flat rock in the middle..with a few stones here and there in the pattern....and walla...instant art ;)

The possiblilites are endless :) and good practice for Children of the Earth :P

15. I have added a few more garden photos....
http://my.imageshack.us/v_images.php

Take a close look at the african goddess statue one.
You will see a head coming out of the top of her head...which symbolizes the spirit leaving the body at death...and she is crouched while giving birth to another soul.
there are crocodiles on each side of the head like a headdress....as they are a symbol of death as well.
She, as the feminine aspect of the universe rules over life and death.
I have had her for about 30 years now..and I move her around in the gardens.

18. I was just about to post the same thing. Thank you
for the album.
I wonder if there is a field of designing enchantment gardens, Your garden is truly that and peaceful.
#4, the doorway or structure really captured my attention and the goddess seems so at home as if she was carved out of the tree.

Nice work, Winyanstaz.

That is a grape arbor I made. I like to make trellis and arbors and weave things like tomatoe supports out of spring shoots off the apple trees etc.
