An astrological graphing problem: what single moment correlates best to Katrina hitting New Orleans? Since the storm lasts for many moments once hitting Louisiana when is the first moment?
There was another phenomenon happening at the same time as Katrina, seemingly unrelated, but highly unusual: A swarm of earthquakes centered at Obsidian Butte, Salton Sea, California. Might earthquakes and hurricanes be related? Perhaps terrestrial magnetism affects, causes, or correlates to both phenomenon?
It's out there in concept, but whether the answer is yes or no, it appears there is an astrological chart relationship. The Obsidian Butte earthquakes appear to start swarming in a concentrated group on Aug 28, 2005. I've checked some of the earthquake times and there are mundane angles running through the Louisiana area in many of them.
This is the first in the quake swarm series beginning on the 28th and ending on the 29th reported as PDT.

Here's the
AstroClick Travel map for that moment, the earthquake's PDT has been converted to CDT by adding two hours. This time is about 5 hours before the storm is reported to have hit the coast. There are 21 other Obsidian Butte earthquake times (of this unbroken series) that curiously, of the several I've checked, have mundane angle hits near Louisiana.
I really don't know what to make of it, other than forming the question regarding correlation.
