Okay, so months ago when I mentioned wanting prayer beads, Oak2004 contacted me, telling me she creates prayer beads. And, man, she knows the ins and outs of the different gems and stones (as far as healing properties), and is an uber geek about All Things Beads (I say that with love, Oak2004!). :)

All I know is that they're BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

I'm an earring nut and have been longing for amber earrings. She created the most PERFECT pair of earrings I could have ever imagined!!!! Amber and copper and, oh my!!!!

1. Beautiful work, Oak2004!

I can't say, which ones are my favorites. The green aventurine and blue agate is so lovely. But wait - the Lapis, magnesite, and pewter rosary is gorgeous.

Who took the pictures? Excellent display and your write-up is really quite good "...it's that the pettiness of the debates and disputes pale in the light of the Infinite, and there's only one of That."

My mom is Anglican - so I think I know what to get her for her birthday in a couple of weeks - thanks. :hug:

5. I took the pics

armed with my neighbor's Canon Sureshot, and vague memories of my long ago high school photography class.

BTW, a hint: if you can afford the difference, the copper one is way more spectacular in real life than the pictures let on (though the lapis/magnesite is not a bad rosary by any means). The artisan copper cross (which is a good bit of the materials cost) had me looking at it saying "gee, can I convert, so I can keep this one?".
