Anything happen to anybody else last night?

Last night around 12-3:30am est I had a strange thing that happened. My senses became more heightned and I have had trouble sleeping lately as well. I usually don't unless it has something to spiritually like a full moon or something like that. Around 3:30am est I could feel my inner eye being a bit stronger. I could also really feel my guides watching me a lot last night. I thought maybe someone who didn't belong in my room was there but nobody ever left so I figured it was my guides. Does anybody know what happened?

He is very clever and funny. That's why we hang out.
But he was making fun of DU!!!! I mean that is unforgivable, imo.
This place is solace for me. A lifesaver.

I hated to have to do that. But I have no control over what idiots do. Oh well.

I've been going through a new awakening kind of thing for a few weeks. Things are changing. Evolution / Revolution ?

I awoke around 12:30 PDT and then again an hour later. Finally gave up, fired up Harpo (the name of my computer) and went to, where else, DU! :o)

I am not a sensitive (I do not think), I am an empath, so I am not sure what waking up then meant. Could not get back to sleep tho and I also felt like "someone" was watching. I am just learning about my "ability" so I am not sure what an empath even really is so...now you made me wonder....

I meant more that I am not sure what to do with this ability or how to use it since it seems to be something that comes and goes indiscriminately. I am not sure if this extends in my case to other dimensions, as well, this is very interesting to think about!

I used to wonder why, when I walked into a room where there was a crowd of people (mostly strangers or people I do not know well) I would suddenly feel sad, and I thought it was me. I thought perhaps I was crazy or something because one moment I am feeling pretty good and the next almost devastated, with nothing happening in between. I used to wonder how I "knew" someone was suffering. The hardest part is that most of these people are strangers and when I was a little girl, I learned very early not to say anything or even trust my feelings...adults told me I just "did not know..." and I trusted that, after all people know better than I do what they are feeling, right? I did not understand denial, or an adult's social need to mask things and I had no one in my life who understood it, or acknowledged it.

But spirits too? Wow... Boy do I have something to chat about that would be way too strange but it is the truth....about a haunting that is very persistent that is happening to a friend to the point he is withdrawing from everyone, even me his dear friend. He says it is better though if I am not there, because after I leave they torture the hell out of him....wow. Now I am wondering if I brought them in...I just ignore them and tried to urge him to do the same, but he lives there, I do not and he says it is harder to ignore them when you live with them, I agree...he cannot afford to leave and says he is not sure even if he did leave, maybe they would just go with him...He says he is afraid they will "attach" themselves to me, but I am not worried about that because, well I know there are angels(allies) and that gives me peace. I have never seen mine, I just know they are there, I feel them. I tried to tell him there were allies there for him too even if he did not believe in them, they were still there and that could give him peace to know, and to call upon, but he does not think they help much. See he is an engineer type and this is all new to an atheist and former minister's son...

Sorry to get off topic here, it just all spilled out because it has been a source of agony for me. No one with whom to talk to about it...as many here may imagine. I also hope you do not think I am a little "off" either, I am really not sure what to do, it is strange to me as well! I am not so sure if I could I want to tune into the things that are in my friend's place tho. I would not know what to do even if I did communicate with them, and I am not sure I have the kind of strength or knowledge to help, you know? They seem to be very...evil to him, they are only mischievous to me, but then I make a point of ignoring them too, lol.

the other evening a friend and i met at a starbucks for coffee. we were sitting out on the patio, and because it was a mild evening, there were quite a few other people with the same idea. my friend was having a lot of trouble focusing on me and our conversation due to the amount of other energies present on the patio. she was jittery and edgy and getting annoyed at the energies she was tapping into. we finally left and just walked around, and she was able to focus for the first time that night. she recognized that she was channeling the feelings of the collective and said it has been happening all the time lately, causing her to spend much more time alone.

I think there is something happening that is beginning to 'stir up' things in this dimension and other dimensions, bleeding over from other dimensions as we are to it, causing a kind of 'ripple' thoughout. I do not know why I am saying this, since I don't have a damn thing to prove it. Just a feeling. Some seem more sensitive to this than others....and I wonder what it all means....

are feeling a shift, a sense of uneasiness, a feeling that change is imminent.

My friend is more annoyed by how the energies mess with her head than worried about transfering said energies to others. I know that while I am in tune to the shifts I mentioned, I am not picking up on my friend's collected stuff when I'm with her. Although I do notice that our combined energy tends to make some kinetic things occur, especially if we are focused on that sort of subject.

5. My sixth sense has been on high the last month, possibly more than ever

before in my entire life. I'm a little freaked to see your post, Freedom, because while nothing strange happened to me last night, the night before last was filled with very unsettling dreams. Not about the world, Bush, the administration, terrorism or more disasters, only about me personally and they scared the crap out of me. So, yeah, in terms of awareness of my abilities, such as they are (which is to say, weak, but at this point, undeniable) the last couple of days have been uncomfortable. Gives me a bad feeling about tonight.

As an empath, you might have sensed something from someone close to you. Time to check with family members?
That's my guess. But, I have slept spottily ever since Katrina, so last night was a relief.

I slept soundly last night; after 12.5 hours at work, and home to another long round of chores, I don't know what would have kept me up.

The night before, however, is a different story. I was restless and awake long after my usual bedtime; I took a book to bed but couldn't focus. I was laying there staring out the window at the stars, unable to sleep but unable to do anything else, either. The animals got restless; cats jumping up and down on the bed, dressers, and window sills, and the dog whining and growling at the door (she could have gone out of her doggy door, but didn't). Finally I got up and went outside. I live out in the country on a private road a long way from the nearest streetlight. It is DARK out there. There was enough moonlight to make my way by that night, though, and I found myself "on patrol" around the place, checking barn, fence lines, etc.. There was no sign of deer, coyotes, or other critters. I finally stopped in the middle of the road to the barn and looked around at the way the moonlight fell, the shadows created, and listened to the quality of the silence. It was electric. It was poised significantly, ready for something. I don't know what. After quite some time, I looked around once more and headed to bed, determined to get some sleep before work the next morning. I had no trouble getting to sleep after my late night jaunt.

8. YES!!! Same thing happened to me! What time zone are you in?

I'm in Central time, and crawled into bed about 2:55 a.m. (we're working REALLY long hours on this job...I've checking into DU every couple of hours, just to clear my focus, and remember that there are sane people in the world <grin> ).

However, when I closed my eyes to go to sleep, it was as if, from behind my eye lids, what I saw was that I was flying through a dim light, very fast. I felt the presence of "angels", or beneficient spirit guides, on this journey. It was as if they were saying "hold on...we're taking you faster on this journey". Or like, we're moving you further on down the line.

It was so real, and so serious. I woke up this morning, and my body was sore! I haven't felt great all day, but my spirit feels stronger.

Too weird.

12. Interesting

Well apparently last night in certain parts of the planet you could see auras so there was something going on. I talked to a friend of mine yesterday afternoon and she said someone was in my room and that when I felt someone new there I was right. Now things are better and normal but last night was very strange. I wasn't tired but my body was tired. I'll probably sleep well tonight hopefully. Things seem to be back to normal, but last night around the time I mentioned everything was very hightened and I was more sensitive then what I usually am since I have a spiritual shield around me to help protect me. I'm in eastern time.

astral projects? I know several.

A friend in Ohio used to come on down to Texas to visit during the night. I could feel his presence even though I was sleeping during that time. He always told me, put a big 'neon x' on your house so I can find you. I enjoyed him coming over to visit.

Not to discount the guides. That could very well be it.

My spirit guide appears as a woman. I met her long ago, but didn't realize who she was until recently. And I know there are others that I'm not fully aware of.

I went to the future and it was very strange. I wish I could figure out how I did it. I've also seen my guides. I have three main one's. I've heard and seen my protector/soul mate and a female guide. I haven't seen or heard my master one though. :(

One night when I was in hospital, I saw a group of angels standing by my bed. It kinda freaked me out and I went out to the nurse's station to sit for awhile. She told me no one was there. But they were.

My dreams are often "other worldy". I am convinced that I time travel sometimes. No proof. It doesn't happen all the time.

Someone offered to teach me astral projection many years ago. I didn't want to.

9. My kids were all restless last night...

My son kept moaning and groaning in his sleep (usually he sleeps soundly). I heard my oldest get up twice, and my 6 year old crawled into bed with us around 2:30 this morning.

The thing is the animals have been acting odd. My dog has been very skittish for the last couple of days and the rabbits have been banging in their cages and knocking their food and water crocks around. The chickens also have been acting "jumpy" (more so than chickens normally do) and we only got two eggs today (an average day we would get 8). Anyone have any insights?

10. I don't know your time zone, but I'm on the coast.

The moon has been very bright and a couple of nights ago the coyotes were active much earlier than they usually are. They upset the neighborhood dogs a lot at those times so there is the symphony of howls. It's very eerie. Kitty wakes me up during the night when things are happening that I don't percieve, usually once or twice a night. I'm used to it so I go right back to sleep. However, there have been times when he has awaken me that I felt like my bedroom was full of people. The feeling goes away quickly once I am fully awake. It is very strange though.

They are NOT happy little campers. Nothing has really changed about their food, schedules or health, and they're completely nutbar. Loud all the time, restless whether inside or out. That's actually been concerning me quite a bit; makes me wonder what on earth could possibly be up.

32. I'm really sorry, MidnightWind. Car wrecks can certainly unnerve you.

They seem to happen so fast that it somehow makes your mind not trust things. Not to mention that your body is usually really SORE for a few days, even when there are no visible signs of injury.

I'm sorry you had to go through that, and I'm glad that you weren't hurt seriously. The difficulty concentrating could be related to what I consider is a little bit of post-traumatic-stress that comes on after such an event. But you should still go get yourself checked out, since there could be something else going on.

I'm trying not to get too freaked out by it, but--it's not working. I'm actually trying to focus more on my literal, liminal reality right now. Sometimes wakes me from a sound sleep. Other times, I am awake and alert. On the computer or sitting at the dining room table, for ex.

I am going to start recording these experiences and checking the geological sites.

that freaky ability I have to predict what reruns of my favorite television shows I'm going to be watching has been affecting me a lot, again, whether I've looked at a t.v. guide or not, or know where a station is in the syndication cycle. That just happened again tonight ("Band of Brothers"; "Bastogne") and it was as creepy as it always is. Same thing with a lot of what is being played on the radio when I'm in the car--I'll hear a song in my head, change the station and that station will be playing it. I've been getting "bad vibes" before getting in my car lately, and just last night I was almost in an accident. Other things. A strange, periodic knocking sensation in my house--I've experienced a moderate amount of paranormal activity since moving in here, but knocking hasn't been part of it. That creeps, too. Damnit, I'm a Taurus, we're not supposed to have even this much awareness of the Other side!
