Cool, weird.

Okay friends, my world is getter weirder.

A few minutes ago, I walked past my desk and my shirt caught and dropped a dog tag the was sitting there, onto the floor. I heard a ting when it happened and looked back to see what the noise was.

The dog tag was lying on the floor, but I didn’t feel like picking it up. I just gave a thought that, I SHOULD pick it up. I continued over to the windows to draw the blinds without actually picking it up. Then, I walked directly out of the room to get something from the kitchen. I sat back down at the desk and... there is the tag on the corner of the desk, exactly where it was before it fell.

I DID NOT BEND OVER, PICK IT UP AND PUT IT BACK ON THE DESK.

I had my hands full when I went to sit back down. I had a glass of water and my vitamins in my hands!


The more I allow my world to be fluid, the more I see past the illusions, the more phenomena appears. Either I went to a place where the tag was never on the floor or I picked it up in a parallel reality and it showed up on the desk. I, myself, did not pick it up directly.

or were you at work, and maybe someone else read your thoughts and did it for you? If the answer is the "former" all I can say is WOW!! This is mind blowing. I do however believe in Spirits among us! ??????

which is also the computer/office space.

I remember the whole thing so clearly because that thought of "I SHOULD pick that up" was so definite. But I was already moving toward the windows to pull the blinds. When I'm doing one thing and I try not to get distracted along the way.


If I had not retraced my exact steps, I would have dismissed what happened. But I had my hands full on the way back to the desk! That was the clincher.
It was as if the Universe was allowing me a peek behind the curtain.

I think a lot of stuff like this happens but we dismiss it. I don't believe it's anything that unusual.

13. It would be in my house!

Living alone as I do, I'd be a bit startled...then I would suspect the cat. After that..... I'd think I was no longer living alone! Not sure how I'd handle it...what with the onset of my sudden panic attacks!

I think the paralell reality thing could be true, or that since your *intention* was to initially pick it up, but your *body* wasn't up for it...so your mind/spirit handled it for you!~

My spirits just like to hide things on me to get my attention. Then make them reappear in a spot that I've thoroughly searched 3 or more times.

I've found that the more delighted and appreciative I am of those occurrences (and I am!) the more they happen. I really like your choice of words - "The more I allow my world to be fluid". That's spot on.

You experienced two timelines--one where you picked up the dog tag and one where you didn't. And somehow the wires got crossed.

And may I just say that is one of the coolest things I have EVER read! :D

The second time I saw the thread, there were 4 posts and 44 views (the first was 0 posts, 1 view.) The next time it was 7 posts and 78 views. Then 8 posts, 84 views. And now (not counting mine) 9 posts and 95 views.

14. Something sorta similar happened to me

the other night/morning.
Long story,but we had taken a trip down to the beach to re-up some info from a hard drive at a friend's house down there. We'd never been there before.

It was about two in the morning and I had taken my hoop earrings and bracelet off and deposited them in my pocketbook, which was lying on the floor about eight feet around a corner from the door. The lady of the house, who was staying up with us while we did our work, was watching as I took them off and put them in my bag.

An hour later, husband had gone out the front door for a cigarette break. He comes back in holding one of the hoop earrings,and tells me I must have dropped it out front in the driveway.

Lady of the house protests that she saw me take the earrings out and put them in the pocketbook,as i am saying the same (and that it couldn't possibly be my earring). So I go to look in the bag and, sure enough, one of the hoops was missing.

Now there were only three of us running around, only ONE of us went outside and he only went three times total, and I made SURE that I put the earrings INTO the bag all the way so that they didn't fall out..I remember thinking that I should do so,and also thinking that I was glad I HADN'T LOST ONE OF THEM YET.

Yes, there were cats in the house, but again I put the earrings well INTO the bag, so I would have noticed if they had fished them out and were playing with them. No such thing occurred.

Bottom line, it's still a bit of a mystery to me and one that I guess may have a reasonable explanation, but I can't seem to find it. He found the earring well out into the driveway, not just outside the door on the porch.

So, what if in another timeline/parallel you did lose your earring and the thought about making sure that you put them away safely was a reverberation of that event. And this is all actually happening at the same time.

I don't know. It's a crazy thing, isn't it.
