My sweet granddaughter... out of the mouths
My daughter #3, her mom, was really sick on Friday. A sudden kidney infection laid her low. The pain was so bad that she was vomiting.

Two year old Maddy sat on the couch with her mom, as mom leaned over puking into a bucket. After every puke, Maddy asked, "Do you need water?" She kept asking every time and finally her mom said, NO! I don't need water. The next time her momma threw up, she asked, "Do you need milk?"

Later in the afternoon I went to check in on them. My daughter stood up from the chair where she'd been for hours. Little Maddy ask, "Mommy are you better?" Mommy said, "No, not really." And Maddy lovingly responded, as she threw herself around her mom's legs, "It's okay mommy, I'll save you."

She just wanted to make everything better.

1. OMG, how precious is Maddy!!!!

What a wonderful story, Bonnie. Thank you so much for sharing. :)

I hope your daughter is feeling better. Is it my imagination, or is there an uptick in kidney and gallbladder issues lately?

:grouphug: to you, Maddy and your daughter.

5. ANGEL BABY !!!
I so love children at his young age especially. So innocent and loving. I wish I had appreciated my grown children when they were this "special" age, more than I did. A teen mother doesn't realize how fleeting this time is. I'd say treasure them each moment, because once they are attending school a lot of the "innocence" fades. My daughter's best Friend wrote on Face Book the other day, that she made Choc. chip cookies, and when her sons got home from school, her youngest (5..K) wrapped his arms around her legs and told her "you're the best Mommy I ever had"!! SO PRECIOUS !!! I am absorbing into my soul every precious moment I have left with Aidan!
