It is SO on--misbehaving "contrails" hit East Coast after their well-received show on the West Coast

That cheeky 'contrail' is at it again! The cause of LA's mysterious missile is now blamed for sunset light show over New York

It seems that Americans on both coasts are being fooled by aircraft vapour trails, which are mischievously making themselves look like everything from rocket launches to alien spacecraft.

Earlier in the week an optical illusion created by an aircraft vapour trail caused a sensation when it appeared to look like a missile being launched off the California coast.

Spotted and filmed by a helicopter-borne news camera crew, the mystery launch left military experts scratching their heads until the phenomenon was identified as a simple aircraft trail.

Yesterday, over Manhattan at dusk, another news camera crew spotted a similar unexplained event - not the billowing tail of a missile this time but a bizarre, glowing object streaking across the skyline.

If that video is in real time (I only watched a tiny bit of it), then that ain't no contrail. Maybe it's a weather balloon. :evilgrin:

Home has been relatively relaxed, other than a DSL modem that needs replacing. Of course, every single time I threaten to replace it, it starts to work fine again. However, I'll be going to Fry's or a similar electronics store and replacing it so I don't have to hassle with slow to no connections again (or not for another few years...)

These UFO sightings are pretty cool, too. However, I don't think the septics will ever be convinced, not even if the aliens came out of their craft, shook their hands and ate part of their brains. Even then, they'd be like "Lame! That's just Hollyweird VFX... or maybe it's mac & cheese." :P
