May I ask for a quick 'reading' on something?

If you feel comfortable, that is.

It's for husband - and yes,he's open to it. He's just not sure where to go from here. He's had his court date and is serving his sentence (in sections). The very day of the court date, the club he was working at changed their direction and no longer needed him (he did nothing wrong & was not 'fired'). We've sent resumes all over with little to no response. *I* trust that all this is opening the way for something better for him; but he's panicked at not being able to provide for us and pay the court costs/lawyer fees/jail and probation fees. I'd like to be able to offer him some comfort; although I realize this may not be possible.

If anyone feels anything about his opportunities or anything related, and feels comfortable relating it, we'd both be grateful. If not, that is certainly fine. I'm practicing detachment from the outcome ;) - and thank you.

1. I'm not sure how much weight my impressions should carry,
considering that I predicted the outcome of this most recent court date would not produce an actual sentence and evidently it has.

What I'm picking up right now is a hazy red cloud of anger/resentment. Can't tell if it's coming from your husband or from you. Also, don't know if this will be viewed as positive or negative, but the sense of a transformative event for him in the next month or so. Probably for both of you. And as I've written to you before, I feel that your next serious work opportunity lies in an urban area, probably different from the area you are in now.

Just my $.02. Hopefully, others will chime in as I'm not sure my track record for accurate predictions about your life has been all that great.

2. Actually you weren't too far off.
You gotta realize; he was facing 24 months and got 30 days. That's a miracle. Also 2 yrs supervised probation. And he serves his sentence 2 days at a time, so he's not in there all at once. It's really the best outcome we could have hoped for. So don't poo=poo your abilities; I think you were quite on target.

The anger/resentment is def.him; I've let go of most all of mine. He's really done well at coming through some of it,but not all. I also hope you are right about the opportunity being in an urban area different from the one we're in now - I think I know which one; at least I hope.

Thanks so much for your input. It's greatly appreciated.
