About settlement of claim vs. 'stranged husb, he had daughter ask judge for continuance when I said I'd agree if he'd file consent;

edit: should have said here, 'I said i'd agree to continuance ONLY IF he'd file consent, which he didn't do;'

AND younger daughter informing me and her guy different things about her whereabouts; AND the obnoxious repugs playing games with 'agreements' on unemployment/START/taxes.

2. For what my advice is worth,

don't agree to any more continuances. Especially don't let him use a surrogate, like the daughter. That's cowardly on his part, and who knows how the judge sees it.

I wound up taking a large hit in my support money in part because of continuances. Sometimes you just get blindsided by them, as happened to me. Last year, I took three days off without pay from my new job to drive 800 miles for a hearing that had already been postponed more than once. I kept on asking my attorney for assurances that this hearing would actually occur, as I was, I repeated to her, taking three days off without pay and driving 800 miles (each way) to attend. I was about two hours into the drive when my cell phone rang and guess what? Yep, you guessed. Last minute continuance. It was a very good thing I was still eight driving hours away, or I'd have gone over to his house and done damage.

It's things like that that make me say it's a wonder the homicide rate isn't a lot higher.

Daughter obtained chambers# somehow, and called for him. Cowardly, to say the least, but as the 'deal' for continuance was made ex parte, judge didn't get to hear my story, just his b.s. I did NOT agree.

Homicide, right.

4. It's confusing

the planets do not bring us bad days

WE bring bad days by not dealing with the challenges (planets) correctly.

It's kinda like a very large dysfunctional family, I guess.
It can be a great day "outside" but the family "dynamics" can still screw it up. It can LOOK like it's a bad day.
