My mother died early this morning, she died in her sleep.

she has donated her body to the University of Cincinnati medical school so that others can learn from her life and death. She was 87 years.

I bet she was a great lady. I'm glad you got so many years with her. She was certainly generous. Yesterday a 90-odd woman lamented to me that because of her lymphoma, she wouldn't be able to donate any of her organs. I told her that they are able to use her retinas/eye tissue so she should keep that part of her drivers license marked.

Your Mom left a great legacy.
