Any positive thoughts or vibes would be appreciated.
My oldest daughter has breast cancer and has recently had a mastectomy. She began chemo yesterday. She is young, strong, and determined to be around for many years for her three small children.

I admit I am very scared for her, but, from what she has been told, she has a good chance of beating this.

I know she would appreciate any positive thoughts or vibes sent her way. She is a very spiritual person (and a wonderful daughter).

Thank you all so much in advance.

5. Absolutely...
I'm so sorry you're both going through this. :(

A former classmate, a psychologist, recently started this site: http://www.senchaliving.com/

“Sencha Living” is a revolutionary lifestyle that seeks to promote and restore Health, Perspective, and Sanity, allowing women and their families to find safe harbor and protection from the trauma of the breast cancer experience. Resistance to trauma occurs through the empowerment of women, the defiance of cancer stigma, and the infusion of fullness, inspiration, vitality, and ingenuity into life beyond a breast cancer diagnosis. The ultimate goal of Sencha Living is living fully beyond the specter of breast cancer for those who have been diagnosed and those who fear diagnosis."

I am most definitely sending you and your daughter infinite hugs of support and healing.

7. Most definitely. A very short story:
My mother got ovarian cancer when I was three (1976) and breast cancer when I was five.
I lost her in January of 2004 at age 69.
In other words, she was a survivor who had many good years of pain-free living after her mastectomy;& chemo. I have great faith your daughter will also.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

8. Hope, I'm so sorry that your family is going through this.
I'm asking that the Universe surround her with healing light and energy that will quickly and easily, at a pace that she can handle, help her to return to full good health. (This or something better for the highest good of all involved.)

Much love to you and others who love her also, Hope. It's not easy watching someone go through this.

12. Love and light sent her way and yours
I will keep you in my thoughts this evening. Please let us know how she is doing. Oh, and if her doctor allows it, see if someone can massage her (you would want someone who is knowledgable in massage for breast cancer and chemo) Massage is not only very beneficial for the healing skin, but is emotionally supportive for people going through chemo. It really helps to alleviate the stress and anxiety during an otherwise unpleasant time.

Bless you both.

13. Absolute best wishes and positive thoughts for your daughter, GfH,
During chemo I began taking warm soothing baths which were cleansing and very restful.. and often added drops of lavender oil for a touch of delicious aromatherapy..

Maybe it will be soothing for your daughter.. I hope so..
