The power of the 12/21 Lunar eclipse will be released on Xmas Day
As the powerful Lunar Eclipse of 12/21 Solstice happens at 29 Gemini, it will launch its potential to be realized as the Sun moves forward and releases its energy on Christmas Day because the Sun will then be 1 degree (in trigger position) from transiting Pluto, at 4 and 5 Capricorn respectively.

Then, we will see the effects of all of this "breaking of codependcy" and other major Plutonian transformations in our life. It's no coincidence this will be on Christmas Day.

It's a time of deep reverence of all things. Purity will be the theme.
This can very well be a meaningful wonderful time for you, blessings to you all. :grouphug:

I think it can be extremely powerful and meaningful, I hope.

My phone has been ringing off of the hook with "issues". Why can't we all get along?

13. "Why can't we all get along?"
Rick, you know it's because there is way too much selfishness in our world today.
Let the transformation begin. Sorely needed for the sake of us all.

4. This hasn't been a terrible MFR for me
not sure why? Of course had the usual PITA things go wrong, computer stuff, refrigerator dying.

Hmmm wondering how this energy is going to effect me? Mentally just knowing the days will slowly get longer after the darkness is a HUGE positive thing. I find myself missing many things from the past, my past life, my ex hubby lately. Like I am not quite ready to let go of it all, just yet.

This is all going on in your 4th house, home, family & upbringing. No wonder you are pining for things past. A great time to re-fuse with those things!

Only let go of what weighs you down; appreciate the rest! :hi:

This is 1,000 x stronger than MFR

6. eek!
I have an appointment on the 21st at a mental health clinic to be evaluated so they can pick the best psychotherapist for my issues. I will take this as a good omen that it is an esp. good day for me to take a step forward on the path of transformation!

"Taking the step" is the good omen. Planets support us when we take the step and vice versa.

Good luck

10. That is where I am at
It has been a strange year for me. The ups and downs were dramatic, almost bi-polar like, if that can be astrologically. Highs were high and downs were downright low.

So I am looking so forward to the new year and new beginnings. I am with you on the "Bring it!"

BTW, MG, do you happen to have Rick's website? I thought I had it bookmarked, I want to make a phone appt. w/him to get a heads up on WTF is going on. LOL I can't seem to find it.

16. It is all astrological
there are no "good" or "bad" years for us. They're all good, actually.
They can be full of apparent chaos, but this is only due to rigidity and inflexibility. :hi:

19. Oh I hear you loud and clearly
Actually, I am fine, but those around me are in states of chaos. The highs have been me and the lows have been with others in my life. I have been just trying to fly under the radar and not get caught up in the drama of others, which I have no control of. Which is something I am constantly learning; I would love to be able to "fix" the problems or guide them to safety. That I know, doesn't work.

I am going to be contacting you for a reading. My christmas gift to myself!

:hi:

20. Hello Jeanette
the outsides are really inside
you'll see
it sux in a way, but it's great because you are free of all chaos

this stuff sounds so hard only because we're not trained

otherwise

We are not ok until everything "outside" of us is ok
that isn't possible

let's talk!

I saw a statement the other day, "Everything is not ok until you are ok with everything"

that's it

In other words, you have "apparent" strain around you; let it be what it is without engaging.

17. from Linda Moulton Howe's web site
Geoff Chester at the U.S. Naval Observatory inspected
a list of eclipses going back 2000 years. Only one other northern
hemisphere Winter Solstice had a total lunar eclipse previous to this
upcoming one on December 21, 2010. That date was December 21, 1638,
372 years ago. The next total lunar eclipse on another northern
Winter Solstice will be near the end of this 21st Century on December 21, 2094.
This December 21, 2010, total eclipse will last more than ann hour from
2:41 AM to 3:53 AM EST in the early morning hours of Tuesday,
December 21, 2010. Also see SpaceWeather.com.

24. from the web
The eclipse will actually begin when the moon enters the faint outer portion, or penumbra, of the Earth's shadow a little over an hour before it begins moving into the umbra. The penumbra, however, is all but invisible to the eye until the moon becomes deeply immersed in it. Sharp-eyed viewers may get their first glimpse of the penumbra as a faint smudge on the left part of the moon's disk at or around 6:15 UT (on Dec. 21) which corresponds to 1:15 a.m. Eastern Time or 10:15 p.m. Pacific Time (on Dec. 20).

The most noticeable part of this eclipse will come when the moon begins to enter the Earth's dark inner shadow (called the umbra). A small scallop of darkness will begin to appear on the moon's left edge at 6:33 UT (on Dec. 21) corresponding to 1:33 a.m. EST or 10:33 p.m. PST (on Dec. 20).

The moon is expected to take 3 hours and 28 minutes to pass completely through the umbra.

The total phase of the eclipse will last 72 minutes beginning at 7:41 UT (on Dec. 21), corresponding to 2:41 a.m. EST or 11:41 p.m. PST (on Dec. 20).

At the moment of mid-totality (8:17 UT/3:17 a.m. EST/12:17 a.m. PST), the moon will stand directly overhead from a point in the North Pacific Ocean about 800 miles (1,300 km) west of La Paz, Mexico.

The moon will pass entirely out of the Earth's umbra at 10:01 UT/5:01 a.m. EST/2:01 a.m. PST and the last evidence of the penumbra should vanish about 15 or 20 minutes later.

25. So, the eclipse's energies are to be
released on probably the most stressful days of dysfunctional family gatherings... and I am scheduled to be at my MIL's who (she and her dh) are militant R's of the tea party persuasion, along with the mentally ill (dual dx) brother who talks like the guy from The Soloist (only more delusional). The step father in law is some kind of cross between a used car salesman and venture capitalist who is currently selling shares in "gold mines" (I have this recurring dream that my MIL calls frantic that the SEC and FBI have arrested her husband and put him on Rikers, confiscated their computers and frozen her bank account and wants us to pick her up.) who likes to read aloud from the Wall St. Journal and National Review. He is a loud talker d/t hearing damage during Vietnam so is really loud and laughs like this: Huh Huh Huh Huh till I want to kick him in the stomach. (Look up Pompous Ass in the Websters-- see his picture).

My dh is on a short fuse as he is not feeling well, over-tired from working nights and is a Union Man. My 18 y/o son is proud to be a member of the National Socialist Party. I think I'm just going to drink a lot of alcohol, laugh insensibly at everything no matter how inappropriate, allow my MIL to insult me and call me a drunk like my father and pass out early. I have to remember we are together at Christmas because we are a family and we love each other - for at least the first 15 minutes.

28. Luckily, it won't be me going through the emotional meat grinder
since I didn't grow up with these people, it is merely an expensive, uncomfortable, awkward period. It will be my DH who will be going through the emotional quagmire and I am hoping not to add to it.

More than likely (judging from previous times) the BIL will create some kind of crisis because he cannot handle his mother focusing attention on anyone else. Last time she was supposed to visit he ate a bunch of pills he was not supposed to so she cancelled her trip. My dh was a bit upset because he delayed a trip to get work for her visit, plus he was looking forward to spending time with her alone (without her husband and the dependent attention seeking BIL). We had made plans for Father's day at a fancy restaurant with her tastes in mind as well as some other outings.

My task is to let go of the resentment that we are "wasting" time, energy, and money on going there on Christmas -- the time off my husband has --opportunity cost in which he could have come home (hasn't been home since July); the quality time we could have been spending together as a couple and family-- instead will spend with some people I hardly know (BIL's girlfriend, my husband's stepbrother and his wife-- I don't even really know them).

I left NY Saturday, got into TN Sunday evening. Wed, drive halfway across the state to get my husband and then drive down to Florida. On the 30th we drive back. Gas is not cheap, air travel was less cheap. I am a little concerned about the weather conditions once we get into the Great Lakes region on return but I am careful, I check ahead and may end up driving a different way if it looks better. It is hard to prejudge the weather patterns now with the climate changes and freaky weather patterns lately. Snow in Australia-- middle of summer there. Good gracious. Gives a new view on the saying "On a cold day in hell." -- that is now entirely possible lol.
