With all that has happened in my life the past few days, I had forgotten all about this, but this thread, and this post especially, reminded me.

I woke my husband, called my daughter downstairs, and we all went out to see if we might be able to see anything. It has been raining all evening. I could tell the rain had stopped, but figured there would still be clouds. There were, but not for us.

When we stepped outside, we found ourselves beneath a circle of clear sky surrounded by clouds with the eclipsed moon centered exactly within the clear circle. Beautiful! As if the clouds had cleared just for us (and maybe they did). Magical! Yes, it was.

I really needed a touch of magic tonight... and this was perfect. A powerful and majestic moment... just what I needed.

I am grateful.
