Scientists say an entirely separate type of human identified from bones in Siberia co-existed and interbred with our own species.

The ancient humans have been dubbed "Denisovans" after the caves in Siberia where their remains were found.

There is also evidence that this population was widespread in Eurasia.

A study in Nature journal shows that Denisovans co-existed with Neanderthals and interbred with our species - perhaps around 50,000 years ago.

I don't know about the above literary reference, but it seems valid enough.

I seem to remember reading some new agey stuff that mentioned we were but one of several 'templates' of humaniods created by the Nifelheim to be their slaves in mining gold or something...though that even sounds pretty wild, now that i type it out loud... (i think the book was 'serpents of wisdom')

but i guess it's possible. I have thought for many years that our diversity of species in all other genres makes us (the Earth) look like a petrie dish for the universe, and isn't it strange that humans would come in so many shapes and colors, but still be so similar in dna? too weird...

The last paragraph of your post is most illuminating. Wow, maybe that's how there are so many "versions" off the template.

Re your second paragraph, maybe this is why humans are such sheep, as people on this forum often talk about. You know, "sheeple."

OK, here's something really intriguing. I've been meaning to post it but haven't take the time to go back and get it a little more exactly.

David Jacobs, a Ph.D. at Temple University and a researcher who has been studying this phenomena for decades, was on Coast to Coast the other night. He was there, I think, primarily to defend himself against a nutcase who has been attacking his research, but while he was on the show, he was asked some questions, the answers to which had me stunned. He says he has been getting feedback for some time now that the hybrids are here already and are adjusting to life on earth.

They have to be told everything about our world. One incident that was cited was that they have no concept of money and how to pay for things. Relating the story, Dr. Jacobs pointed out how odd it would be for a person from this earth not to understand the concept of payment. Just think of how little kids behave in stores. The relationship between "thing" and "payment" is learned early here, and even in a more third world type culture, there is still barter and trading that takes place. Same deal.

So in this story, the individual had to be "trained" to learn how to pay for things and the concept between money and object.

There were other stories, some of which were about human-appearing people with super-normal abilities.

I wish I could remember more. If enough people are interested, I'll listen to it again and post the highlights. If only a couple people are interested, I could send them an mp3 of the show so they can listen themselves.
